There is a movement growing and after years of obstructionism, dog whistling, lying, fear mongering, hypocrisy, and outright cowardice from GOP lawmakers it is time to take a stand. It isn't violence in the streets that will win the day but the ballot box and organized, concerted engagement. Remember to use the media, do not be used by it. Most important, a government that fears its populace works best so terrify the hell out of Trump and his literal cronies by keeping the pressure at 100.
To the Trump supporters, nothing but love and respect to my fellow countrymen, but I am not on board with the direction you want to take this country or the man you have chosen to helm the ship and I intend to fight it tooth and nail through every lawful means at my disposal.
After watching the same people who lambasted Benghazi turn a blind eye to Yemen, who criticized every penny spent on security for Obama but not even blush at the millions being spent on Melania, who complained about the "Swamp" in D.C. but pretend it is okay that the new cabinet is worth more than 100 million Americans and who have a long list of ethics complaints, who decried government spending as bankrupting the nation but now support trillion dollar infrastructure and a useless $21 billion wall, who screamed how crooked Hillary was but defend Conway's advertising Ivanka and Flynn's treason with Russia, and who applaud nationalism while trying to repeal ACA with no replacement when a third of the country doesn't know it is the same as Obamacare and it will leave up to 20 million Americans without access healthcare....it is clear they are putting partisanship first, not country first.
I gave Trump a chance and it only took three weeks. I hope the new political platform is "Resist Trump". I think the best message to resist him is a "One Nation" message because what makes America great isn't who we force and keep out from baseless fear. And it isn't domineering and brow beating others into submission. It is the values we have as a people to stand up against the wrong in the world and to be there for one another.
