New Political Platform: Resist Trump

To the Trump supporters, nothing but love and respect to my fellow countrymen,

I get on board with everything else here, but I'm sorry, anybody who supported Donald Trump does not deserve love. They are a direct threat to the United States of America. I would happily trade 10 random Muslims or Mexicans for 1 Trump supporter any day of the week. The day they elected a Tyrant, a demagogue, and a White Supremacist they lost any right to call themselves Americans.

I don't want your love, I want the Trump results and am getting them something that is going to be hard for you to explain, why do you hate jobs,; economic growth, and national security so much?

Sorry pal, but you're not getting ****. Jobs and the economy were already growing thanks to Obama, and Trump will not improve that situation he can only **** it up. Your ideas do not make the country more secure. Your ideas are the cause of war and terrorism.

And of course what the republican congress did with Obama was completely different. "we will oppose everything he does no matter what" guess who said that?

The difference is Obama wanted to federalize healthcare with the use of "Corn Husker Kickbacks" and parliamentary tricks, and gut the job markets with unchecked illegal immigration. Those people protesting are mostly protesting because they live ****ty lives due to Obama.

Trump only wants the country to be more prosperous.

My message to those against him: Just make your little piece of America, "not great again" and go away.

Yep, that is why bama won the election for the Democrats along with Congress, he got credit for the incredible results he generated . On election day the Dow was 18.3 and today it is over 20.5. What you post is nothing more than leftwing rhetoric out of touch with reality. Going to be a long four years for you

After watching the same people who lambasted Benghazi turn a blind eye to Yemen,

Yeah, I know....I don't know how Obama got off the hook for being a war criminal by continually selling weapons to the Saudi government to commit war crimes against the people of Yemen.

Obama was elected to close the gap between the "haves and have nots" and look at what he accomplished? The state of California for example has the widest gap in the nation and yet they continue to vote for the same policies that got them in that position. Shows where the true power is in that state and in all other blue states

Well, at least you got over the hump that the Russians or Comey elected Trump.

Dear Americans,

Trump did not run against Obama. He ran against Clinton. Trump is excellent at claiming credit for things he did not do. Fiat, GM, Ford, etc. had all announced their decision to invest before the election. In other words, you may have been fooled.

“Some of these jobs were going to be announced anyway, but are being announced in a way that is much more public, perhaps to garner a little bit of political favor—or perhaps more importantly, to stay out of trouble,” Jim Russell, a portfolio manager with Cincinnati-based Bahl & Gaynor Investment Counsel, explained in a new Wall Street Journal report. After consulting multiple experts and reviewing ongoing corporate plans, the Journal found that most of the 130,000 or so "new" jobs announced by large companies lately in fact "predated Election Day or boil down to relatively small increases" for the businesses.

[...]

However, the evidence indicates that Trump and his policies factor in minimally regarding the actual decisions to keep or create American jobs. Trump may be the reason for how these decisions are presented—in high-profile manner, glossing over larger, more complicated truths—but he's not the reason why the decisions were made in the first place.

How Many Jobs Has Donald Trump Added or Created in the U.S.? | Money

Sorry if you were fooled by the appearance that Trump had accomplished anything with regards to recent job growth, but if there is any credit to be had, all evidence points that it belongs to Obama.

As for the stock market bump, that is great if you are already one of the wealthiest Americans, however it is rather meaningless for over 90% of Americans.

With love and respect,

Your Fellow Countryman

Guess this is just another example of the left buying what they are told and another Obama lie. Obama stated that although he wasn't on the ballot in November his policies and legacy were. Can you explain, please, how such great economic numbers(liberal speak) generated the loss of Congress and the loss of the WH? Please name for me any other President in US history that held office 8 years and then lost the Congress and the WH other than Bush?? What that tells you is that Bush and Republicans paid for the recession and the war just like Obama is paying for the very stagnant GDP, job growth, and massive addition to the debt.

Keep buying the leftwing rhetoric while ignoring the actual results. the electorate got it, when will you

Dear Americans,

Trump has returned to campaigning a month after being elected. There is no better evidence of how poorly he has already governed that he needs to reassure himself and his base that he is making the "right" decisions. Sad.

Guess you didn't see the massive turnout. Apparently others don't agree with you.

what "libertarian principles" do you see being trashed by Trump and would have been advanced by the Clinton administration if it had happened.

Sounds a lot like Reagan who enjoyed about the same relationship with the Press. Don't get your message reported, take it to the people, Great job!!

You would praise him if he came into your house on Christmas day and pissed on your kids.

To be fair, Obama also took his message straight to the people on a number of occasions. Unfortunately, that had something to do with Democrats losing over 1200 congressional seats.

Only because Obama and the left have been pissing on Conservative's kids for eight years now.

Good point, guess it just goes to show how great the message was

That is probably the most accurate statement made to date on this topic. The message itself is the key. That is what made Trump our President and what made Hilary not.

Having said that, Trump was a unique candidate and is a unique President. He is not a career politician. So, it would be wise to concentrate on the message not the message delivery.

Dear Americans,

Trump supporters love to trumpet a Breitbart statistic that Obama lost over 900 legislative seats since 2009. What they don't mention is that after the midterm elections of 2010, there was massive redistricting across the country, and verifiable gerrymandering. So what Trump supporters are often really saying when they quote this statistic is they favor a system where the politicians choose the voters and not the other way around.

The Trump supporters often love to talk about "messages" but what is theirs? "We are going to bring jobs back to America." That is it. They believe that America is no longer "great" because low skill with high wage labor has been disappearing. That is why they parrot how Trump is keeping jobs here, how he is kicking out the illegals who are taking American jobs and siphoning the system, and how he is going to "punish" companies that take business overseas. They are under a shared delusion that those jobs are going to exist. They are ignorant of the realities of automation, of the labor disparities in developing nations, and how poorly America has invested in the right kinds of education to make competitive products for this century. They are literally trying to apply 20th century principles to the 21st century and wondering why they are "ignored". Well they have been heard now and got their way and now they have to contest with reality. Their leader can fabricate a narrative that he is doing something when he really isn't. His supporters truly believe he "saved" 70,000 coal mine jobs by repealing an Obama clean water ordinance, but it is enoufh to comfirm very few jobs were at risk and others would have been created.

This is where we will win. Trump supporters have their message. We have REALITY. We have what is observable and verifiable FACT. We have the TRUTH. Let them have their "message" that requires lies, misinformation, and ignorance to be perpetuated. Reality will sort them out.

With love and respect,

You know, there are a whole lot of Trump supporters who don't follow Breitbart at all. I'm not really a Trump supporter and I didn't vote for him but I will defend him from the Faux media and I have never once looked at Breitbart. Never once been there, done that. The mainstream media is bad enough I don't read the extreme fringes on either side. But, the mainstream media is out to get Trump. They have an agenda of making Trump a one term president, and while I expect that from the Democrats, the media should be "fair and balanced".
