New Political Platform: Resist Trump

https://www.indivisibleguide.com/web/

There is a movement growing and after years of obstructionism, dog whistling, lying, fear mongering, hypocrisy, and outright cowardice from GOP lawmakers it is time to take a stand. It isn't violence in the streets that will win the day but the ballot box and organized, concerted engagement. Remember to use the media, do not be used by it. Most important, a government that fears its populace works best so terrify the hell out of Trump and his literal cronies by keeping the pressure at 100.

To the Trump supporters, nothing but love and respect to my fellow countrymen, but I am not on board with the direction you want to take this country or the man you have chosen to helm the ship and I intend to fight it tooth and nail through every lawful means at my disposal.

After watching the same people who lambasted Benghazi turn a blind eye to Yemen, who criticized every penny spent on security for Obama but not even blush at the millions being spent on Melania, who complained about the "Swamp" in D.C. but pretend it is okay that the new cabinet is worth more than 100 million Americans and who have a long list of ethics complaints, who decried government spending as bankrupting the nation but now support trillion dollar infrastructure and a useless $21 billion wall, who screamed how crooked Hillary was but defend Conway's advertising Ivanka and Flynn's treason with Russia, and who applaud nationalism while trying to repeal ACA with no replacement when a third of the country doesn't know it is the same as Obamacare and it will leave up to 20 million Americans without access healthcare....it is clear they are putting partisanship first, not country first.

I gave Trump a chance and it only took three weeks. I hope the new political platform is "Resist Trump". I think the best message to resist him is a "One Nation" message because what makes America great isn't who we force and keep out from baseless fear. And it isn't domineering and brow beating others into submission. It is the values we have as a people to stand up against the wrong in the world and to be there for one another.

Your marching chant can be "MAKE THING WORSE!! MAKE THING WORSE!! MAKE THING WORSE!!"

Finally getting on the Sharpton "Resist we much" bandwagon?

That's the main reason Trump was elected. Even though he is rich, he is different than the politicians who have been running things for far too long.

He's different alright. He's turning everything over to billionaires and evangelicals. He just filled the swamp with different monsters.

Dear Americans,

The leaders you help elect represent you. When they blatantly lie and you do not call them out on it then it is your lie as well. You become a dishonest, liar when you cannot hold the people you have chosen to represent the country's interests accountable to their own words. When you blame others for your own inability to stand up to the authority you bestowed then you practice cowardice. When you cannot see beyond party and partisanship, beyond the self serving media and corrupt politicians of the other side, to make a sound argument against deceit from your chosen leader, you lack character and reason. These are not the virtues I believe my countrymen will continue to practice. I have faith in the heart of Americans not to put their pride before what is good and honorable.

With love and respect,

Your Fellow Countryman

As a Reform Party member, not a Republican or Democrat, not pro or anti-Trump and didn't vote for him. Or Clinton for that matter. My platform is simple, I will support Trump and his policies that I am in favor of, I will oppose or use your word, resist those policies I am against.

I will not be totally against Trump just because he is of the other party or one was pro-Clinton. To me that is asinine. That is partisanship and loyalty to political party or candidate over country. This also applies to those pro-Trump who defend him regardless of what he does or says only because he is of their party or they are pro-Trump.

I think the anti-hate agenda will suffice.

Lol ! Hate and intollerance define the " resistance ". Do you really think the average American equates riots, assaults, property damage and temper tantrums to " Love and tolerance " ?

The Obama agenda was rejected, not only on Nov 8th but over the last 6 years.

Your side lost, that means your demands for the continuation of Obama's policies will be ignored.

And you gave Trump a chance ?? Lol....Flynn resigns ( as he should ) after lying to the VP gav to you thats reason enough to demand Obama's legacy be enacted under a GOP Congress and a Trump Presidency.

As far as the " resistance " is concerned " they're only alienating the very people the Democrat party needs to rebuild with their attacks, hatred, riots and tantrums.

And of course what the republican congress did with Obama was completely different. "we will oppose everything he does no matter what" guess who said that?

You say that like Obama got nothing passed in the 8 years he was President.

Is that what you think happened?

That's the main reason Trump was elected. Even though he is rich, he is different than the politicians who have been running things for far too long.

That is the reason for the all out media attack. He is clearly not a party puppet of the rich and powerful. The rich and powerful will continue to use there main weapon (the media) to attack him relentlessly and to keep the hate between the minions from uniting behind a president they do not own. SAD.

The Trump administration is "the rich and the powerful". In the case of DeVos, "the trust fund baby".
That will probably be "sad", but I'll wait.

Trump has not disentangled himself from his business interests and is profiting from decisions his administration makes.
That is illegal.

Like many before him, The Donald has fallen into the pit of Because, to die with the dogs of reason.

Well at least we agree that he is not anyone's puppet.

It is also quite clear that the rich and powerful that run this country are not happy with his attempt to be the peoples candidate. Otherwise they would use their media to support him instead of attack him.:doh

Trump has not disentangled himself from his business interests and is profiting from decisions his administration makes.
That is illegal.

If what he is doing is illegal then why is he not under arrest?

There are suits been filed. As for congressional action, you surely know the Republicans won't touch him as long as he proves most of a benefit than a liability. He signs bills they send and keeps his "base" happy, they will let anything slide.

So he is above the law the way previous president were.

You claim you gave Trump a chance, did you point out the following that has recently been announced?

EO's to promote job growth and regulations reform in addition to keeping his campaign promise?

Here are the results also you want to ignore

Fiat to invest 1 billion in US
Intel to invest 7 billion creating 3000 jobs
GM to invest 1 billion in US factories to create 1500 jobs

How many meetings did Obama have with business leaders?

Behind the scenes Ways and Means working on Tax reform. Republicans working on ACA replacement?

I really don't see you or anyone else being balanced as the left wants to focus on insignificant events that do nothing to promote job growth, economic growth and damage national security

Then there is this, just in Trump signs legislation undoing coalmining regulations to put Coal miners back to work. Love it! Another promise kept

Yeah. I'm not against phasing in clean energy but to just give coal miners pink slips and putting them out to pasture solely due to liberal politics was stupid.

Dear Americans,

It is truly sad that many intelligent people were fooled by claims that Trump was responsible for domestic investment decisions by companies like Fiat, GM, and Intel when it was DOCUMENTED that these decisions had been made BEFORE the election. Real leaders do not claim credit for things they did not do. This is further evidence that Trump is a charlatan and his followers who are unwilling to investigate and know the truth and have absconded from reality.

With love and respect,

Your Fellow Countryman

The shallow end is thata way --------->

You miss my point entirely.

Your point is that Congress, who's job is representing their constituents, did their job by representing the wishes of their constituents. And you compare that to a years long tantrum by a bunch of sore losers. I think it was you that missed your point. I hope these people keep acting like children. It just drives voters to vote against the party of "whine" and motivates the conservative voter to get off their ass. Win win for the right.

Your friends are going to be real disappointed in 2018. What are they going to do then, whine louder?

So you don't believe that businesses react to positive economic plans such as lower taxes and lower regulations? You see, that is your problem, you never RAN a business. The election results show something you refuse to accept, the Obama economic results were on the ballot and were rejected

I posted links showing that this is touted as the Trump BUMP and yet you refuse to accept that. Why? Why wouldn't a business like what Trump is doing?

Here is what the left and you want to ignore

Trump signs bill repealing Obama's last-minute coal rule | Washington Examiner

Here are the results also you want to ignore

Fiat to invest 1 billion in US
Intel to invest 7 billion creating 3000 jobs
GM to invest 1 billion in US factories to create 1500 jobs

Then there is the EO's promoting the Keystone and Dakota Pipeline, lowering of EPA regulations, ACA penalty reductions all promoting economic growth and jobs

Now to think that this stock market is reflective of Obama is nothing more than Partisan BS from people who don't understand business

By the way, the Dow on Election Day was 18.3 and is 20.6 today and you credit this to business decisions made prior to the election? Do you know when five year plans are made? Obviously not
