Sean Spicer whines at Briefing

He compared leaking confidential information from an intelligence agency to Nazi Germany.

It's indefensible no matter how one sees it.

Remember some years ago when Sally Field got an Oscar and she gushed and cried "you like me ... you really like me"? I just saw the flip side of that coming from a grown man supposedly being paid to do his job. Sean Spicer at todays daily briefing whining and sniveling that its really hard to do this job when all you get is negativity ever day aimed at Trump. It was actually pathetic.

When this thing finishes and video is posted, I will add it here. This is must see.

Really?

I didn't see him whining.

At what time index?

Please support your partisan puppet contentions.

The irony is Obama got this crap 24/7 and even had a republican congress that refused to work with him and admitted they wanted to make him a one term president. I don't remember hearing whining from he or his Spicer counterpart. In fact I thought Obama took it quite well and stayed classy the whole time.

To be fair nobody ever insulted Obama on really serious things like ratings or the size of his hands. They just questioned his legitimacy to even run for president, and his religion among other things.

Trump is such a little yellow snowflake.

Were there recounts of his votes? Did a concerted group of people try to intimidate the Electoral College to change their votes? Did the HR entertain motions to not ratify the EC vote? Were there hundreds of thousands of women worldwide protesting his agenda that has NOTHING to do with taking away their rights? Did celebrities talk about blowing up the White House? Were they threatening (promising) to leave the country if he took office? Did the press compare Obama to Hitler? Did demonstrators vandalize Washington DC on Inauguration Day? Did they file suit against him on his first day in office? Did 68 representatives boycott his inauguration?

Huh?

Why? Someone leaked information.

Were you as quick to defend Trump when others called him a Nazi?

Not someone, he accused our IC of doing it and behaving like Nazis. He was the President Elect. It's indefensible for a person holding that title to make such a hyperbolic and demoralizing accusation about agencies he would be leading in a just a couple of weeks.

That's irrelevant, I'm not the president. I don't hold the same standing.

Oh, yes, by all means. Totally indefensible.

Wow. Well, good luck with that attitude. I wonder if any party wants you.

Sincerely yours,
Maggie Racist Scumbag

Your such a good little victim, I see why you stayed. I never said all repubs are now racist scumbags. I did say that when the alt-right scum poured through the door some of us wanted nothing to do with that group and left.

The link from post #10 starts at 1:03:09 in the video I posted in #28.

If you ask me, that 1 hr 18 minute briefing was one of the best I have ever seen.

He wasn't whining, he was explaining the facts.

Are facts considered whining now?

Really? Obama had negative stories coming out about him 24/7? False stories? Reported by papers that are members of the White House Press Pool? Do tell.

Exactly.

BUT!

I have known Maggie here for quite a while. Me and her go at it like cats and dogs.

But she speaks from her heart and believes what she believes. She is polite and respectful.

She is NOT one of those alt-right assholes. She is one of my favorite posters (though we often disagree,) and I just love her to pieces. Please be nice to my lady friend.

Get use to it. They are going to berate and attack the media until they silence it, or die trying.

The current Republicans, especially Trump and his crew, don't plan on taking responsibility for anything they do or say. They will just whine, cry, and attack the media so they can put the blame on the media for their own screw-ups.

The GOP hasn't been the party of 'self-responsibility' in a very long time. It's ALWAYS someone else's fault. With Trump everything bad will be the media's fault until he silences it.

And by silencing it I DO NOT mean shutting it down. He'll just berate it until people, especially HIS supporters will only believe what Trump and his Reps say, they will not believe anyone else.

How about they start by doing honest, fact based coverage on policy instead of picking up bull hockey stories from frikkin Buzzfeed of all places?

Spicer is trying to hand them a ladder and they keep screaming for more shovels.

I have no idea what partisan puppet contentions is suppose to mean... or is that the usual attack the messenger insult?

Its around 1:04 and 05.

EDIT

I see you found it yourself. I first replied based on clicking on who replied to me and then answered your earlier question in your post 28. But after posting then saw you found it yourself (post 36) so you have it.

I'm not completely defending the media. I haven't watched a network based news cast or program in decades.

But after the last 8 years of vile, vicious hatred directed at Obama, accusing him of everything from being a Kenyan to being the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood! So you, and anyone else, should NOT be surprised that Trump will now get some of the same treatment.

For 8 years the Conservative news outlets laid this groundwork, they made this kind of tactic the norm. And what really pisses me off is the establishment GOP just sat back, winked, laughed and shrugged their shoulders while the Con media attacked Obama and accused him of every transgression under the sun. In 2012 while Trump was running around the country with his birther BS Romney and the rest of the GOP just joked and winked and laughed about it. They never showed Obama an ounce of respect.

Now the shoe in on the other foot.

Buckle up.

Remember "you didn't build that"? Four words pulled out, twisted out of context and used like a club to beat Obama with for years. And the MSM reported and repeated those four words. Headlines sell. How is that any different than taking Trump's tweets and reporting them verbatim? If he doesn't like it when what he says is repeated, then maybe he shouldn't have said it or at least learn how to say what he really means. Or stop trying to communicate serious matters 140 characters at a time. I, for one, am already tired of waiting for K.A.C. to come along the next day to explain that what I heard or read wasn't what Trump "really" said.

LOL. The news wasn't doing it, they were covering the crackpots and ANY crackpot would do and they painted every other critic of Obama with the same brush.

If you haven't watched a media broadcast in 8 years you basically have no leg to stand on regarding commentary about news broadcasts---you are admitting you are ignorant of the subject material.

Got news for you, Obama never showed anyone in the GOP any respect. He won...remember? Back of the bus...remember?

No.

Why did you say "whining" in the OP?

Do you not care about your integrity?

I suggest you watch the whole press conference instead of letting pundits tell you what to regurgitate.

You didn't build that was a mindset into how liberals view risk takers and businesses in the US. It runs contrary to ideas about individual achievement in the US. Not to mention the relationship between the government and the people.

I am talking about shady, unverified stories like the MLK bust, the dossier from BuzzFeed, etc. I don't mind critical reporting but, give both sides and keep the editorializing to a minimum. But the opposite seems to be happening. The media is destroying itself and all they have to do is revert back to trying to cover things as factually as possible with verified sources.

The only reason why Drudge exists is because a media outlet spiked the story that put him in the spotlight. Yet they keep feeding the partisan side of the news over their own integrity.

Just because I don't physically watch the news doesn't mean I don't know what they report on, or how. There's this modern media called the Internet, with Google, YouTube. It's fun, try it out.

And while MILLIONS were losing their homes and jobs remember what McConnell said---'Our #1 priority is to make Obama a 1 term president'-- remember?

The meeting the top Republicans and power brokers had on the day Obama was SWORN IN where they said they will never lift a finger to help him out for fear it will make him look good---- Remember?

And your use of the term 'covering the crackpots' is interesting when replying to a post where I mentioned Trump and his birther BS.

You mean like the Churchill bust Obama had removed?

Like I said, buckle up.

Good Night

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No free ride for me, I am the employer not the employee. Most of the employers I know are stand up people that would never vote for Trump.

Cause they employee illegals into their business models?

Obviously I do, stupid cutesy remarks aren't going to help your argument. You depend on someone else's interpretation and selection of news, so you remain fairly clueless about a lot.

And while MILLIONS were losing their homes and jobs remember what McConnell said---'Our #1 priority is to make Obama a 1 term president'-- remember?

That's what opposition does. You ARE aware of how DC is aren't you?

The meeting the top Republicans and power brokers had on the day Obama was SWORN IN where they said they will never lift a finger to help him out for fear it will make him look good---- Remember?

Turns out all the had to do was let the Democrats take credit and blame for what they passed. Seemed to work.

And your use of the term 'covering the crackpots' is interesting when replying to a post where I mentioned Trump and his birther BS.

In response to that. Pay attention, you might learn how to shape a coherent argument.

How could i depend on what people tell me to say when I posted my thoughts in the middle of his conference before any pundits said a word?

Much of what Spicer did was progress and mending fences. I give him credit for that and getting off to a better start and reboot.

But the part I referred to came across to me like whining. If you don't see it that way - fine. But I gave you my honest reaction as it was unfolding long before any pundit chimed in with their opinion.
