I just saw on TV something that left me stunned realizing that his new Trump administration has the sensitivity of a eight year old girl who feels she did not get enough Valentines at the school party and decides to publicly sob about it on the bus on the way home.

The old joke that SIZE MATTERS has obsessed the Trump administration since last night when they became upset about report that the crowd size of their own inauguration yesterday was smaller than the Obama inaugurations - especially that of 2009. (remember the "Small hands:" nonsense during the debates and the bragging from Trump about his own man package?)

Spicer obviously had been ordered backstage by his bosses and told to load the shotgun and march out there and start firing making accusations to the press.

He said they had engaged in "DELIBERATELY FALSE REPORTING". His evidence was the New York Times photographs of the two events which clearly and unmistakably show larger crowds for 2009 compared to yesterday for Trump. Anybody not blind can see that - and I refer to both physically blindness and the type brought on by partisan ideology which is perhaps worse.

This comes hours after the TV networks have shown the nation over a million people around the nation protesting today against Trump with major crowds in DC, Chicago, NY City, Boston and many other places. It seems their feelings are hurt and now they want to pee in the punch bowl to show how angry they are.

This is going to a very very very long four years if Trump and his spokespersons act like whining little children when they feel that the press is not genuflecting deeply enough.

And the sensitivity behind it should scare every American for what it says about Trump.

This clown is going to make the Nixon/Agnew treatment of the press look like childs play in comparison.

God help us as this is on the first full day of this crap storm.

Why did you leave out why Spicer nutted up? It was another blatant lie from a Libbo journalista.

Do you condone such dishonesty?

Spicer slammed a TIME magazine reporter who "falsely tweeted" that Trump removed a bust of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval Office, adding that the reporters ensuing clarification that it may have been blocked from his view was "irresponsible and reckless" reporting.

Another valid point that Sean raised was the stalling of confirming Trump's CIA director, a valid point, and Trump greeting the CIA workers to a 5 minute standing ovation.

The reporter apologized and it was accepted. So why come out and go on a tirade about that and then the crowd numbers? If you saw any of the inauguration it was as plain as the nose on your face. That aside is this really important to the country? I think not.

He apologized, because he got busted lying. Then, tried to lie his way out of it.

Let's understand that the "old" Republican party lay supine as the press made a sport of kicking the crap out of them with no push back. The "new" Republican party is going to start fighting back. No more unsourced, specious, stories thrown out there to see what sticks.

Get used to it. It's a long time coming. The gloves are off. The media is being treated as the adversary it really is.

BTW, the media rates just above whale **** with most Americans, so there is little downside.

Clearly, the message being sent to the news media is that there is a new sheriff in town, and that which was tolerated before shall no longer be tolerated and won't go without comment or unchallenged.

Now I'm not advocating hand to hand combat between the administration and the media, but I think the media would be better off sticking to provable facts, at least for awhile.

That issue was long settled with an apology from the reporter publicly admitting his error and it was ACCEPTED. Dead issue.

The crowds in those side by photos that Spicer wants us to look at are provable facts. And they prove the Obama crowd was larger.

He can't stand it that his inauguration simply drew an average sized crowd for a presidential inauguration, so he sends his own little Bagdad Bob out to spin it. Being we elected a narcissist and textbook pathological liar, we may as well get used to it.

Donald stood in front of the CIA today and lied about the crowds at his inauguration. As long as he lies the media will challenge him with the truth
He causes his own problems with the media.

Trumplethinskin on day 1.

1459 more to go.

This is going to a very very very long four years if ...

...the left jumps on every comment and every tweet Trump or his press secretary makes. Already CNN and MSNBC are running with this as if it's a major story. Of course tomorrow they'll forget about it when Trump's next tweet comes out.

Four years of screaming that my d&%k is bigger that yours is not going to be healthy for the nation. I don't think I want to or am able to get used to that level of narcissism and egomaniacal obsession with himself and his endowments.

Meh. I know I wasn't there, and I doubt you were either. I also know that photographs of those types of scenes can be deceptive.
The greater point also being why cover something as pedestrian as crowd size when the more important issue at hand is the delay of the confirmation of Director CIA, which could very well be a national security issue, which is important.

So you were there? I rather doubt that as well. See post above about deceptive photographs.

Seems very ADD like of them.

There was nothing deceptive about those photos. People who were there commented on the amount of people. If you watched you could see it for yourself. It only matters to Donald which is why this conversation will go on until he stops talking about it.

That's neither here, nor there. The fact that you left out the why is and that's what I'm referring to. Don't like it? Don't leave out pertenent information, next time.

Because they are a bunch of childish morons.

That's the problem, or not depending on your perspective, is his next tweet! LOL! The suspense is killing me. The guy is truly a 10 year old worried about the size of a crowd. We (not me of course) elected a 10 year old. How funny is that?

There could be, or there could not be. From just a picture posted on the Internet, I'd content that it's hard to tell. There's is also the timing of the picture in relation to when the oath was taken, at which time you'd assume that everyone that wanted to be on the mall would be there.

Lastly, statement of fact: No official numbers have been released as to attendance.

You know what's funnier? The democrats put up a candidate that couldn't beat that "ten year old."

Edit to add... Are all the media people who first reported on the crowd size, are they also ten year olds?

Spicer is really awful as a press secretary. So far all he has done is attack. Didn't even apologize for keeping the press waiting for over an hour and no mention of the women's march all over the globe.

Sad really. Welcome to the orange twitter and chief!
