Will you watch or attend the Inauguration? Reasons?

I live in the D.C. Metro area so I could go if I wanted to but I have no desire to go. And that isn't just because I dislike Trump. Dealing with the metro, and the crowds, and the security, and probable yucky weather is not my idea of an enjoyable day.

I'll definitely watch it, though. I always watch the Inaugeration. It's kind of a big deal.

I haven't watched an inauguration in the 40 +/- years I've been voting. It's a party, no big.

I've got better things to do.

Yes, just for the surrealness of it. I don't think I've ever watched one before.

Interesting things tend not to happen at inaugurations. Just vague hopeful speeches of empty platitudes. So I don't think I'll watch.

No, I think I watched a few minutes of Reagans and Clintons, but this is not something that adds value to my day.

Caveat...if I hear that there are riots I will likely take a look.

Only in the age of THE REBELLION does this get said.

Yep, I am going to a Trump party to watch it. It is going to be a gathering of gun huggers and successful people. This inauguration will be a fun party, but even if it was an inauguration for Hillary or Bernie, I would still watch it at home.

If I was there, I would try to go because I've never been able to attend one. But the logistics and expense that would be involved are beyond my ability at this time. But I will be watching.

I just hope the MSM won't do their best to spoil it by giving the usual people who can be counted on to behave as self righteous know-it-all jackasses a lot of camera time. Just for once, I wish they would take the high road and allow the event to be the celebration of the orderly and constitutional transfer of power that it is intended to be.

No. I'd rather jack off a polar bear with a fistful of tacks.

Nope. Have not watched one since JFK. I see no need.

I will watch it live, either on a Swedish TV channel, or, on the net, on a UK channel. On the US election night I was glad that Clinton lost. Now I have moved on and I'm glad that Trump won.

I don't know if I'll be around to watch but, I'll be keeping up with the side-shows. 23,000 to march here in Austin.

Not a chance, even if someone gave me a free ticket. Not to mention that it seems Trump is so desperate that he'll soon be offering to pay people to go. But beyond that I'm not interested in listening to Pat Boone, Creed and a high school garage band from Soddy-Daisey, Tennessee.

I've never had a desire to watch one but I will watch this one!

No, I don't like the way Trump speaks.

If anything interesting happens I'm sure it'll be on youtube.

I hope so, I may have to do things but I'm gonna try and watch it, with a glass of something alcoholic I imagine, toasting to the end of the world.

I'll be at work, which is where a lot of Republicans will be. I am sure there will be plenty of Democrats/liberals there, since they get paid to protest while the rest of us work.
