Her response wasn't any worse than what you see all over the internet on forums, twitter, etc. And it's not certainly not worse than conniving to get someone fired.

It has been my observation that our American extreme left wing wackos are always left wing wacko but are a tad more civilized about it when they are in power. They still are the most intolerant, hateful, judgmental, controlling, uncivil people are Earth.

But when they lose power, even the pretended restraints are discarded and they become completely ridiculous, even sometimes funny in their hysteria.

Unfortunately our more moderate left wing friends too often refuse to condemn such excess and even look for ways to justify and/or condone it.

You should take a look outside the ignorant partisan bubble, because for every douche bag on one side there is another on the other side. That is just reality and it is utterly stupid to think that somehow one side only has a monopoly on what is right or doing wrong.

newspapers at some point should serve their audience. as much as I didn't like the direction the gop took, that was the will of the people. the newspapers clearly did not serve their greater audience. the same seemed to happen with the big 3 tv networks. It was basically the "rural purge" all over again, except this time it directly involved politics

There are right wing wackos yes, and I have observed my fair share of them, but they tend to be the exception rather than the rule. But I don't see many, if any, of the extreme utterly wacko stories regarding the right that you see from the left when a Republican happens to get elected President. Stories like the one that inspired this thread. Where do you see anything comparable from the right?

And while conservatives have their causes and deeply held beliefs too, they do tend to adopt a much more live and let live stance than do those on the left. If you stay out of my face with it and don't try to legislate or bully me into how I am required to live my life, I will leave you alone to your beliefs and attitudes as that is your business and not mine. And while there are exceptions, I don't see a whole bunch of those on the Left holding that attitude.

Hillary lost a significant part of the left end as well by Bernie running, pulling them left, and then losing the Dem primary.
That more left part was left with Hillary and didn't like it much a tall. In fact, some switched over to Trump.
