'Cept when Putin was actually in charge of the KGB under Soviet rule, the Left fell over each other praising the virtues of Communism.

Putin never headed the kgb to my knowledge. He was a major or colonel running an office of the gdr in Berlin, when the Republic collapsed.

Assuming that Putin was behind the hacking: He did something wrong that exposed the truth. Hasn't that been a touchstone for liberals for years?? We've heard a lot of justifications for illegal acts being carried out as long as they were for the greater good. If in fact Putin did do this, then by liberal standards, we should be cheering him on, since he exposed the truth about Clinton and the DNC and he did it prior to the election so that we could be informed voters.

In this point Putin would only be breaking the law for his take on the greatest good. Sorily that is as much harm to the US as he can do with impunity.

So you don't think that showing the American people the truth about how the Dems. made Clinton the Dem. candidate was a good thing?? Should these kind of shenanigans be hidden from the people or exposed for all to see? Should the people be getting as much information as possible about their candidates or only the information that is deemed acceptable??

Clinton got way more votes which resulted in more delegates. That made her the candidate. Not the DNC. I'm amazed every day at how mild the information was that we got from the DNC and Podesta emails.

It was a crime. That its later publishing is good, has nothing to do with that nor does the asymmetric nature of the publication.

Absolutely. I'd add that Hillary Clinton is a tricky Bad Woman who's latest con job is the creation of the Vast Putin Conspiracy, as a way to try to sway electoral voters and weasel her way into an office that she lost.
