I have seen this "logic" popping up time and time again and I wonder if people really believe it makes sense.

I just saw that.

Essentially because they voted for Trump, we're responsible. And just when you thought you'd seen everything.

It's obviously a troll argument, I'm just curious where it got its start.

Those who love telling others to take "personal responsibility" rarely take it themselves.

I wouldn't have minded voting for a Democrat - almost any democrat - instead of Trump. Clinton was just on the top of a very short list of people that I want as far from government as possible.

I still didn't vote for Trump. But I couldn't vote for Clinton.

If it were between John Wayne Gacy or Adolf Hitler...sorry...Gacy wouldn't be my fault that I didn't vote for the mass genocide guy.

I've seen many people with buyers remorse over voting for Trump. They use that excuse as a means to comfort themselves on their lousy decision. The Trump voters in the circles I hang around in really didn't think he would win and voted essentially to "vote against Clinton", but now many are asking themselves what they have done.

Trumps presidency is just going to be one of scandal I predict and it will be his own doing for his conflicts of interest.

Lol When was the last time we had a President that wasn't involved in some sort of scandal. As long as we are stuck with these 2 crappy parties DC will always be riddled with corruption and scandals.

Obama's presidency was marked with controversy but not scandal. Trumps will be marked by scandal in my opinion.

Obama was in charge when Lois Lerner was let off scott free. Obama was in charge when Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton on a plane while Hillary was being investigated by the FBI. Obama was in charge when the State Department was purposely stonewalling that investigation. Obama was in charge when several of Hillary's cohorts in the email investigation were granted immunity and others pleaded the fifth. Obama was in charge when Hillary deleted 30,000 emails before handing them over to the FBI. Obama was in charge during Fast and Furious. Obama was in charge when he tried to buy backroom votes to pass Obamacare. Those are just some I can think of off the top of my head.

Sounds like you are an old school Republican. Not many of you guys left anymore.

I agree. There are many Democrats I would have voted for over Trump, and there are many Republicans I would have voted for over Clinton.

As it happens, both parties nominated their Worst Candidate Ever, so I had no choice but to vote for neither.

And none of those were Obama directly. Again trumps presidency is going to make Hillary look like an angel.

And the trumpbots are too stupid to even notice.

I stopped being a Republican about 2009. First Palin, then the co-opting of the Tea Party by the stupids gave me serious pause about partisan politics in general. I liked McCain (but not Palin), I liked Romney, I liked Christie until he started playing all the sides. I kind of like Ryan, I kind of like the Pauls. And even though I don't support a lot of his political positions (his electorate, really), I'm surprisingly a fan of Gowdy.

If you noticed many of the scandals he listed were tied to Hillary. We know Hillary is a pathological liar and one of the most corrupt politicians in US history. Hillary would have simply been another 4-8years of gridlock and scandal at least with Trump there is a chance something will get done.

And trump will make Hillary look like an angel with all the **** he will me marred with.

Oh. Now I understand. With Trump the buck stops here, even though he isn't even president yet and with Obama the buck does not stop here.

The crystal ball has come out of the closet. Who is winning the next Superbowl and World Series?

I got the crystal ball from the same GOP that decided they wouldn't support Obama before he took office. Ask them

I won't deny that is a very good possibility which is the reason I didn't vote for him. Just saying at least there is a possibility he could surprise people and do something good for the country. The absolute best we could hope for out of Hillary is more of the same from the last 8 years only that instead of being racist if you disagree with her you are sexist.

Let's see I've used trumps own words and own plans, you've spouted off bs partisan ****. Let's see who's right in the end, but you'll defend Trump no matter what he does.

trump's two best moves were to choose Pence and let Priebus tie all of the campaigns together.

trumposters continue in deflective election mode trying to cover for trump's tweets .

I give Trump the same support the GOP gave Obama before he took office. And let's see it was the GOP policy to make Obama a "one-term" president. And the GOP NEVER changed their stance to oppose obama so why do you think it should be different for trump?

Ah, that old lie -- liberals equate any disagreement with Obama as being "Racist." Clap harder, and Tinkerbell won't die.

I'm sure some do. But obviously, the vast majority don't.

I don't expect it be different, the goal for the opposing party for any president is generally the goal of making them a 1 term president. This is more of the sad shape this country is in with this BS 2 party system.
