Trump is not my fault because Dems nominated Hillary

I'm sure some do. But obviously, the vast majority don't.

That comment is more about my personal interaction with liberals outside of this site. I wouldn't even really say liberals more of the hardline Democrat supporters where I live pretty much always instant defaulted to any criticism of Obama is simply due to racism.

Ah, the whole "anecdotal evidence" argument. All the greatest hits are being played tonight on K-GOP 107.2.

Obama's presidency was marked with controversy but not scandal. Trumps will be marked by scandal in my opinion.

Trump's presidency will be marked with the petulant lamentations of the Hillary fluffers who still cannot believe that Hillary managed to lose. and when Trump appoints someone who is far less enamored with government than Merrick Garland is, the whining will happen. and when Trump judges overturn stuff Obama's judges issued, there will be more whining. And when Obama EOs are wiped away by Trump, the boo hooing will reach a cacophonous crescendo

Ah, that old lie -- liberals equate any disagreement with Obama as being "Racist." Clap harder, and Tinkerbell won't die.

the fact is, some liberals do, some liberals don't

I see any political disagreement is now reduced to "whining," as long as the people you like are in charge.

Keep thinking that trump has no conflicts of interest and is stacking his cabinet with Russian puppets. I never figured you for a Russian supporter wanting that in America but then I wouldn't be surprised.

This russian nonsense is just that. I want the GOP to pick the judges. I tire of Democrats jacking my taxes up

the fact is, some liberals do, some liberals don't

To put it that way makes it sound like a flip-of-the-coin proposition. A more accurate way to phrase it would be "some liberals do, exponentially more don't."

No you want Russians calling the shots. Trump isn't draining the swamp, he is just stocking it with Russian supporting sewer dwelers. Sad that conservatives and republicans are now Russian puppets.

I have seen this "logic" popping up time and time again and I wonder if people really believe it makes sense.

I am glad I didn't vote for either of the two top candidates in the General. That way, I am free to criticize Trump without being tarnished by the bias of a sore loser. Brilliant decision on my part to sit out on November 8. :)

FYI: If Hill won, I'd probably be slamming her for things too, but I am 100% certain that she would never have given me nearly as much material as the Dummy has in just the past 40 days....probably not even over 8 years

well you might be right but in all fairness, I don't deal with lots of left-wingers outside boards like this. Most of the people I interact with are people from my social group-not hard core lefties, competitive shooters (yeah you're right not liberals) etc. so the most stuff I hear from liberals are on boards like this and there are a fair amount who claim that if you disagreed with Obama, racism had to play a part

I disagree. People who didn't vote for either I dismiss as not mattering on this subject.

lol...he nominated to State a dude running a shadow company for the Russians---B..b..b...but guns! Oh, and taxes

try to figure out your true position. are you back to being a sore loser over Hillary? I think everyone with at least half a brain knows why I voted for Trump and this sort of petulant whining isn't going to matter to me

I dismiss the opinions of Partisan hacks who are so biased that they won't admit they voted for a buffoon.

First, I am a seeker of truth, and open to any facts which make sense in making sense of this political Twilight Zone
So, let's begin with the most immediately relevant of truths which I can find. I'm sure many of you political pundits know so much more!
Some who voted for Donald Trump did so, it seems to me, specifically to vote against Hillary Clinton.
They perceived (correctly it seems to me) that receiving vast sums of money from Wall Street Banks, (the most generous one having been Goldman Sachs), probably compromised her integrity and fitness to be the defender of the interests of the American people rather than a tool of the big investment banks.
A vote for Donald Trump, who promised to "drain the swamp" and break up those legendary "too big to fail" banks with a Glass Steagall type of regulation may have seemed like a welcome protection from the cruel fate Americans suffered at the hands of the criminal investment bankers.
If you don't know who and what these poisonous vipers are, or just would like a particularly well written reminder, you may want to read the following link. I promise if you have a pulse and a brain you will be justifiably/simultaneously terrified and filled with revulsion...

The Great American Bubble Machine - Rolling Stone

So, let's be clear Mr. Trump just loaded his cabinet with no less than 3 prior or present Goldman Sachs executives.

1) First is Gary Cohen who has been selected to be Donald Trump's Chief Economic Advisor. He is COO of Goldman Sachs which is second in command to Lloyd Blankfein who is CEO of Goldman Sachs.
2) Next is Steve Mnuchin who Mr. Trump picked to be his Secretary Of Treasury.
He was a top level executive for Goldman Sachs for 17 years. Following the calamitous worldwide financial crash of 2008 (caused in some good measure by Goldman Sachs), he purchased the failing lender IndyMac and under the name OneWest bank he proceeded to foreclose upon homeowners in a legendarily heartless manner...A friend has said of him, "he put's the douche in fiduciary".

Mr. Mnuchin has promised to strip Dodd Frank of any pesky regulations keeping the banks from making maximum profits and also he will "fix", (lower) taxes for investment bankers.

Interestingly Donald Trump first offered the Treasury position to Jaime Dimon (CEO of JP Morgan Chase) who declined the offer.
JP Morgan Chase has been fined for so many various and sundry frauds it's amazing they made enough to cover Mr. Dimon's 27 million/yr compensation.

3) Steve Bannon, Mr. Trump's Senior White House Advisor worked for Goldman Sachs in the 1990s and eventually went on to run Breitbart News.
He has revealingly admitted this...

*“Darkness is good,” Bannon*told*The Hollywood Reporter*at Trump Tower, where the presidential transition team is at work. “Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That’s power. It only helps us when they get it wrong. When they’re blind to who we are and what we’re doing.”

That just doesn't sound good...right?

4) Paul Atkins has been nominated for head of SEC. He isn't a Goldman Sachs man, however I mention him here because he is CEO of Patomak Global Partners LLC (not against Globalization I would assume?).
He is an expert in matters of banking regulation.
He believes investment banks shouldn't be regulated, in keeping with aggressive free market policy. Seemingly hypocritically he believes if these banks fail they should be bailed out in order to protect the all important investor. Wouldn't a genuinely free market suggest an investor should suffer the consequences of poor choices?
Anthony Scaramuchi is a financier who helped with Mr. Trump's campaign. He was tagged for Mr. Trump's financial transition team to, according to Scaramuchi, pick A++++ people. Scaramuchi wants to roll back regulations and in particular the new DOL rule which requires businesses to pay employees who make $47,476/yr. overtime.
These are President Trump's economic picks. He criticized Hillary Clinton scathingly for her ties with Goldman Sachs. If he's draining the swamp, I think he's replacing it with a sewer...

Here's Truth Trump, you won't have seen this on the news... Draining the swamp...(NOT!) Comes at the end... Wait for it!

Trump Lets the Truth Come Out Post-Election-The Daily Show with Trevor Noah - Video Clip | Comedy Central

If you're still with me congratulations! I think it's very instructive to know what our corporate Masters have planned for us...

Next up, my very own "tin foil hat" "conspiracy theory" I call Divide and Fool, or how both Democrats and Republicans have been brazenly tricked into electing the most greedy, the most ruthless and the most ethically challenged amongst us.

I dismiss the opinions of Partisan hacks who are so biased that they won't admit they voted for a buffoon.

I proffered an honest and rational argument why I voted for Trump. pretending to be a non partisan and not a hack because you didn't have the stones to vote for one of the two realistic candidates is funny and a bit gutless IMHO

I'm simply amazed at the stupidity of the partisan hacks. And, I guess, I am a bit concerned with how we are going to get through this mess they put us in.

partisan hacks being people who actually voted for one of the two realistic candidates in the last election?

Both candidates sucked. I'm not a partisan hack, so I chose not to vote once my guy was eliminated. A guy who happened to be a Republican, I might add.

The stupid people took over the primary of one party and the political elites took over the other. I'm proud to have the stones to step away from that.

Yeah, when they only voted for the guy because of the R after is name.

I don't think there are many of those. Most of us who voted from Trump did so because he was a better choice or he would follow better policies than Hillary. or some just hated Hillary while not liking Trump

Trump was a pretty bad choice. That writing was on the wall. Hillary was just an unpleasant choice. And, that writing too was on the wall.

I would have been pretty bummed either way. But, like I said above, no way would Hillary have given me this much material to work with so soon.

for 25+ years we have known that Hillary is a vindictive lying power hungry asshole. Most of the rants about Trump didn't start until he decided to run for office.

Honestly, the DNC did shoot itself in the foot when they nominated Hillary. I don't know a single Dem who wanted her over Bernie... then again I don't know very many Dems, which is strange given where I live. Still, millennial Democrats seem to hate her about as much as they hate Trump. The DNC lost a MASSIVE voter base due to that. Some of them even joined the Trump Train.

Honestly, I believe in voting your conscience, so I actually applaud these people for seeing corruption for what it is, and not voting for her.
