This is effing rediculous. Every minute detail over the last 2 weeks has been combed theough and observed ubder a microscope by some folks here. Now look, folks. Trump is president. Barring him doing something obviously illegal, president he will remain, for at least four years. Let it go. Worry about the things you can control. Making a thread about every single little thing the man does, is childish. Grow up. No one here did this to Obama, a man no one had ever even heard of, who had ZERO exp, and minimal qualifications, outside of being black and a great public speaker...but folks here didnt microscope every single apointee he made. Extend that same courtesy to Trump. Stop judging the dish before its been served. You dont decide to like sausage by watching it be made in a sausage factory, you eat, and then judge.

So back off. Give us all here... a month, say, before slamming us,with endless Trump this, Trump that threads.

The demand for confirmation bias will simply not permit that. Trump is news and Obama/Clinton are history - get used to it.

I admire the spirit, Kevin. I hardly blame the posters, though. They are simply regurgitating drive-by media...
 
Everybody can stop whining. Now that Trump is president the dynamic is going to shift. Instead of looking at a wall of Hillary or Obama threads they will be Trump or Trump adviser threads. It's what makes the news.
 
I can understand their disappointment. I was disappointed when Bill Clinton was elected President with 43% of the vote but other than his character deficiencies, he at least had some qualifications for the office. So I was really disappointment when a wholly unqualified Obama was elected in 2008 and, after a horrible four years, was re-elected in 2012.

In both cases however, I held my tongue and made no critical posts until they had enjoyed their honeymoon period and we could begin to see how things were going to go. I wish the progressives could give Trump the same courtesy.

Exactly, that's mainly what this forum is.Media looks for the meat. It was Obama for a long time and then it became Trump and Hillary. Now since Trump will be the president the focus will be on him.

Nope. They are only giving back what they received when Obama was elected. It's only fair that they give Trump the same treatment your team gave Obama. Maybe more so, since Trump has far more skeletons in his closet than did Obama.

Really? Look, i believe in fairs fair, but, Obama did not get scrutinized, either by the media, or by the posters here, kike Trump is. It simply didnt happen. Sorry. But it didnt. After becoming president elect, there were no riots. There were not 20+ threads posted daily here about every quip he made, or how many intelegince briefings he had per week, or who he appointed to head of education dept, or whatever other appointees he made. Obama didnt really start to come under REAL fire at DP until AHCA.
 
You're asking that the guy who spent years demanding Obama's birth certificate and implying he was an illegitimate president be extended the same "courtesy" Obama received?

Soros, Kenya, Alinsky, Aires...no one brought any of that up in late November 2008? Really?

I must have imagined the 24/t coverage on Fox declaring him illegitimate, and challenging every single one of his proposals for two whole years.

Come now calamity, Obama wrote of his skeletons, and the left didn't care. He locked away others, and the left didn't care. He had known relationships that should have been skeletons, and the left didn't care. If anyone attempted to drag a few out, they were attacked as racists.

Hard to make the claim Obama had fewer than Trump is claimed to have.

I believe that many posters are regurgitating propaganda that they know very well themselves to be lies.

Thier motive? Could be many, could be anything from child tantrum to professional propagandists..
But they are posting lies that they know are lies nevertheless, which I find to be a quite disgusting personality trait..

Best case scenario is that they post these lies just for the sake of keeping that insane hell bent ideology in the debate to the extreme so it can be thoroughly vetted by the truth coming from the more intelligent posters around here..

I don't watch Fox. So I can't comment. But I can comment about the New York Times, msnbc, CNN, abc, bbc, to list a few.

To me letting Presidents get in the chair and then giving them 100 days to show us a little thing is the right thing to do. I gave Obama till sometime in May.

The problem is that Trump has shown some thinness of skin. That has made his opponents more aggressive. His opponents want him to fail and are taking whatever steps they can to motivate that failure. If Trump can ignore all the noise then it won't matter. We shall see. There is a negative aspect to this activity, however. It keeps many really good candiidates from running. We get what we create.
