The National Republican Congressional Committee trolled Rep. Nancy Pelosi on Thursday by endorsing her effort to stay on as the House minority leader, and saying that Pelosi more than any other person deserves credit for the ongoing GOP majority in the House.
"No single person deserves more credit for House Republicans' historic majority than Nancy Pelosi," said NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin. "Under Nancy Pelosi's leadership, House Democrats have become completely irrelevant, and there is no better way to ensure that remains the case than by keeping her as minority leader."

"The NRCC offers its full support to Nancy Pelosi as she attempts to fend off this challenge to her failed leadership from within the ranks of her own party," she added.

I agree with the NRCC, Pelosi for Chairman.

I agree with the RNC
I'm shocked.

I don't know if Pelosi is a good leader or not, but I strongly suspect the Republican house has far more to do with the increasing difference in political mindset between urban and rural areas and Congressional districting than either party leader.

At least someone is getting it. That is the platform that her challenger is running on.

Not really surprising. The GOP hasn't shown any class in 8-10 years.

And I find it amazing the left is still talking about the GOP not having any class when they forced the ACA down the throats of the country. Isn't it fun that ever since then your side has been losing power?

Ditto!

Are you fundamentally incapable of taking responsibility for your own behavior?

Yeah, I voted for Trump. We won. Yay us!!!! (responsibility taken) I can already see the left building their excuse for trying to be obstructionists "cuz Trump racist" for the next eight years or maybe even longer. We need a balance. I didn't act alike an assclown because Obama won. I didn't want a safe space with play doh and hot cocoa. I didn't riot. I don't know anyone that did riot. I didn't like it but it was what our country decided. The massive amount of pure BS that is coming from the left about non issues is amusing and it gives me pleasure to witness it. It isn't that we won so much as how amusing to watch the effect it is having on the snowflakes and their "feelings". Love Trumps Hate, let's go riot. From what I have seen from the left shows me that they forgot the regular working guy. The regular working guy just told the left to screw off and many of them were Democrats. We won't get that balance because a loud portion of those Democrats will continue to refuse to be a part of the solution "cuz Trump racist". You folks screwed up your own party and you wonder why we don't trust your party.

Is there even such a thing as a sore winner?

Generally, no. Ordinarily, the winner is in it for themselves rather than purely to spite their opponent. Apparently, the right likes to buck that trend.

The average leftist is not rioting. I don't know anyone that did riot. Hell, i don't even know anyone who protested in any meaningful capacity.

You might enjoy throwing salt in the wounds of the few who do those things, but in doing so, you're also attacking the other 70 million American liberals, so i think it's a bad idea.

When Obama won the presidency in 2008, Pelosi was Speaker of the House and there were 256 Democratic Representatives. After the election of 2016, the Democrats under Pelosi will have 193. I can see where the RNCC is coming from. Personally I think the Democrats needs new younger blood. But if I were a Republican, I would want her to continue too. She has been mighty darn good for the GOP.

Then too, fully one third of all of those 193 Democrats comes from just three states, California, New York and Massachusetts. The Democrats represent the west coast and the northeast and very little of the rest of the United States.

It depends on what person I am talking to. If I am dealing with a person that is anarchist that throws out a lot of snark I will answer in kind. If I am dealing with a person that totally denies the truth at all costs then I know that I am dealing with a person that doesn't care if they are caught lying and will continue to lie, even when caught. I respect Casper because he discusses issues without lying and obfuscating and diverting. We have some big problems as a country and I don't see the left addressing them. Obviously the rest of the country believes the same, even in the DNC. You guys watched the DNC totally hose Sanders. Some hollered about it a little then everyone moved on to rationalize screwing one of your own and ran the person that was responsible for the dishonesty in the name of honesty. When she lost there were people that were actually shocked. Those same people are creating reasons that bolster their failed beliefs so that they don't have to face the real reasons.

I have yet to see Obama discourage rioters. I have yet to see Pelosi discourage rioters. I have yet to see Reid discourage rioters. There is a huge difference between rioting and protesting. When they rioted in Portland they were damaging property of people that voted for Hillary. it isn't skin off my nose. Like I said before, I find it amusing that Democrats are destroying the property of other Democrats and other Democrats are condoning or rationalizing it. Tell me that isn't ****ed up.
