Congrats, GOP - you just elected a racist demagogue

And y'all have no idea what you've done...but in four years, I think we'll all see what happened. Oh, y'all will still try to blame us for anything and everything that went wrong, but all we'll have to do is to point back at the surplus Bill Clinton left for Bush...and what Bush did with it. Obama is leaving Trump a nation that is in MUCH better shape than it was when he first took over...and watch what Trump does with it.

There is one and only one short-term bright spot in all this: a more resurgent Russia...which means a more nervous China. For all the general warming over the past decade between the two nations, they will never really trust each other to the point of being allies. If we had a skillful diplomatic corps - which we certainly won't, if the past two decades of the GOP are any indication - then this would be a great opportunity to play them off against the other. But who knows - I've been wrong before.

And one last thing: the election of Trump will not stop (much less reverse) the browning of America (and the eventual liberalization that will accompany it). The election of Trump will delay it...but the only way such could be stopped would be to go the route of ethnic cleansing...which I sincerely don't think that the American citizenry as a whole would tolerate. But then, who knows - I've been wrong before.

Still preferable to the demagogue Dumbocrat who's greatest accomplishment was being born with a vagina.

I think it is absolutely outstanding that you got your asses handed to you this past Tuesday. Love seeing the vitriol and speculation on how bad Trump will be. You lost the election, you don't have a clue as to the pulse of the REAL nation NOT the big cities like LA that gave Hillary the popular vote victory. I am going to love watching the liberal machine going ballistic over this election, speculating, and driving themselves crazier than they normally are. Take a chill pill, stop with the speculation, rely on basic civics and history and you will save yourself a few years. Rather sad to see what the left has done to this country and here is your problem

The Democratic Party has become one giant hypocrisy. It claims to be inclusive, but it divides the American people by gender, race and sexual preference. It claims to be tolerant, but is impatient and hostile to anyone who has an opposing point of view. Rather than encourage dialogue to settle differences, Democrats shout down, humiliate and belittle political opponents. Instead of being champions of the Middle Class, they pursue and implement big government policies that hurt and destroy the Middle Class. And instead of embracing all of the Constitution, Democrats adhere to, or ignore, our founding document based on their own political objectives at the time.
