The libertarian ideology appeals to young, white, single, childless males, those who want freedom, freedom, freedom, at the expense of security, and who have an edge over other races in the free market.

I once read that over 90% of Libertarian Party members are male.

This changing and the appeal for Libertarianism is growing. When you look at the biggest issue facing blacks, for example, today are with the institutions of the government itself. When talking about this subject to a black co-worker I said this to him, "What do you have to fear from a racist Libertarian?...that he will personally hate you but will leave you along with regard to using government power?" He thought that was interesting and was a valid point.
