For the first time in the newspaper’s history, USA Today’s editorial board is warning readers against Donald Trump, whom they deem “unfit for the presidency.”

This is the first time in the paper’s 34-year history that it is taking a position in a presidential election. The board described the Republican presidential nominee as an “erratic,” “ill-equipped” “serial liar” who is guilty of “prejudice.” The paper also attacked Trump for his “checkered” business history………..

…………. This year, the choice isn’t between two capable major party nominees who happen to have significant ideological differences,” the editorial reads, continuing:


From the day he declared his candidacy 15 months ago through this week’s first presidential debate, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that he lacks the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs from its presidents.

Whether through indifference or ignorance, Trump has betrayed fundamental commitments made by all presidents since the end of World War II. These commitments include unwavering support for NATO allies, steadfast opposition to Russian aggression, and the absolute certainty that the United States will make good on its debts. He has expressed troubling admiration for authoritarian leaders and scant regard for constitutional protections……………

Major Newspapers belong to the power elites who are either political supporter's of Hillary, or political opponents of Trump. (Not the same thing.)

Most people are already well-aware of the media bias against Trump from both print and electronic media organizations.

I thought Bush II was totally unqualified too and the nation other than the mega wealthy sure paid for it, but he didn't just wing it, he took advice and didn't have those temperament and honesty (at least not instantly refutable lies) they're concerned about with Trump

What happened? (My opinion) 4 out of 10 citizens are too stupid, uninformed or selfish to cast a vote. Career politicians have successfully divided this country where citizen is pitted against citizen. The media is in the back pocket of Big Government. So many people are on welfare, that they're practically slaves to the government. It's no longer "what can I do for my country," as much as it's "the country needs to do more for ME."
