Anticipating debate, Trump says he thinks system rigged

I need no explanation of how the media looks/judges/expresses judges its news reporting..........

But you seem to have missed the focus and subject of my post......

Not at all to do with media criticism......

But the sure to occur excuses of "people ain't fair to me" excuses by Trump as why he was trumped after the debate ..........

And please.............

I have been listening to the same sad and tiresome excuse used after every time yall get when your the nose gets rubbed in it........Well over 50 years now........

Can't yall come up with some new excuses?

Have you ever considered it is not the MSM's fault/cause/reason yall get the short end of the stick so to speak...............

That the fault is but yours....... alone

Now in today's environs........

The MSM is to blame for the "loss" even before the event occurs.........

Now there's progress for ya...........

Have you ever considered that Trumps treatment is the fault of the MSM?

The most recent I'm aware of was just the other day. CNN LIED about Trumps comments on profiling "bad guys". Their stories read, Trump calls for racial profiling. He NEVER said that, just like the other things the MSM has fabricated and lied about.

Total fabrication as Dog Whistle. Do you grow tired from having to run to the call?

So, we'll see what happens during the debate. The correct thing to do was put the total frauds in the MSM on notice.

"Anticipating debate, Trump says he thinks system rigged"

He's right, of course. Everything in politics is rigged. It has nothing at all to do with the common good.

Actually I see the MSM as giving Trump a "billion dollar free ride".........

One can point to the "responsible and reliable"media reporting of news.........and say...

.. "they are bias" when in fact it in may just be a mistake.........or how the reader perceives it.........

and IMHO means little to nothing nothing........

And claiming bias is an argument of a self-made victim attempting to blunt the summing loss........... and a BS excuse and not assuming ownership of the "loss"....

Now this is not a practice on only one side .......both are guilty IMHO.......

I agree.........and as you say "we will see how the debate turns out.........

And if I might suggest..........

Turn off the sound and you will know who won the debate and free from worry about who was biased to whom.......

Enjoy...........what better thing one may ask for......... nothing of this is important and all means nothing.......

Life is too short and to get all "exercised" about things we have little control over or any direct effect on ones life is but silliness an a waste of emotional energy.............' tis but noise.........

Do you remember the last "Gottya" question asked?

What newspapers or magazines do you read?

Please lets try not to make excuses for Trump before he may/may not be shown to be a "danger to national security" before next week.......

If the questions are in depth to demonstrate current knowledge of current events; function of government; foreign affairs; etc...............not only would that be fair............but an important demonstration when making a choice for a person to be president.......

Wouldn't you agree.........

But remember, he knows more about ISIS than the Generals!

GOP policy expert predicts debate failure for Trump: ‘He can’t fake his way through 90 minutes

“A Republican Party policy guru predicts the upcoming presidential debate won’t go well for Donald Trump, who’s already complaining that he won’t get a fair shot………

…………. while Trump asks his supporters what he should say and “works the refs” by claiming the debates are “rigged” against him.

………….. Hoover Institution research fellow Lanhee Chen (says) the real estate developer and former reality TV star won’t be able to wing it in this debate like he did during the GOP primaries. “He can’t fake his way through 90 minutes,” said Chen, in an appearance on CNN’s “Party People” podcast with Kevin Madden and Mary Katherine Ham………….

Chen…… (Says) voters in the general election expect to hear more substance than GOP primary voters. “The 90-minute general election format makes it a lot harder to one line your way through it,” Chen said. “I think it’s going to be very, very hard for Donald Trump to spend 90 minutes bumper-stickering. I think he’s got to have something.”…………..

We will know in a few days.

Is there any point in arguing this right now?

If you’re a working journalist and you believe that Donald J. Trump is a demagogue playing to the nation’s worst racist and nationalistic tendencies, that he cozies up to anti-American dictators and that he would be dangerous with control of the United States nuclear codes, how the heck are you supposed to cover him?

Because if you believe all of those things, you have to throw out the textbook American journalism has been using for the better part of the past half-century, if not longer, and approach it in a way you’ve never approached anything in your career.

What did one of the founders of Politico have to say about the media's bias this election season?

Politico Co-Founder: Pro-Hillary Media Bias In This Cycle ?Scary? - Community | The NewsTalkers

HH: I don’t know if Hillary had an earbud yesterday, but the media’s not investigating that, either. Is there, is the MSM all in for Hillary?

JV: You know, you and I have talked about this in the past, and I tend to be a defender of the media. And I tend to think that it’s overblown, what people think just lots of bias. I have a much different view this year, like having been starting a company and taking a little bit of a step back from looking at the politics moment by moment, particularly if you pay attention to Twitter. The number of mainstream media reporters who are out there expressing their explicit opinions, that tend to be decisively pro-Hillary and anti-Trump, to me is scary.

You're entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts.

Your unwillingness to admit what is obvious to the industry speaks volumes.

Could it be your own biases and political leaning that is coloring the way you see things...........

And really now....

And that old silly and sick excuse of "It is the fault of the liberal MSM." I have been listening to the RW whine about for over 50 years has become over-used and trite.......

I am also unclear as to what you think I am refusing to admit........

And BTW

I knew the great man you have quoted................

Why don't you ask the people quoted in the links I provided?

My guess is your own bias, as evidenced by your offering nothing but opinion, wouldn't let you try if you had the chance.

Why don't you ask JV yourself, if that is the great man your referencing. If it's the pathetic excuse for a journalist, Jim Rutenberg you're referring to, perhaps you can ask him how a lying POS can call himself a journalist.

Have a nice day.

I do not want to ask someone else.........

I was asking you.........

BTW

Are you feeling well?

I am 100% certain that no matter what happens, the Trumpeteers will be here claiming it was rigged.

Well, we don't get any from you. Garbage in, garbage out as they say.

So says the guy posting "God Emperor".

For those unable to offer anything of importance, accusations and name calling are the only resort.

In that context, many of your posts can be viewed with some clarity and understanding.

I'm not the one who coined the term, that was your fellow Trumpeteers.

Methinks your wittle feewings are hurt. Need a safe space now?

Trump is right.. The MSM will try to hand it to hillary on a silver platter by any means possible..

If you don't know this by now their is something wrong with you..

While I do believe the MSM is partial toward Hillary, I would be surprised if that partiality shows itself at the debate. With just Trump and Hillary on stage such partiality would be obvious and would likely hurt Hillary. My guess is the moderators will be on their best behavior. Hillary and Trump, on the other hand...

Cough..cough...*****...cough...cough....

When I said that, I was referring solely to Trump, if anyone misunderstood that as a personal attack against anyone here, they were wrong.

Although I hope and expect Hillary will wipe the floor with him I don't think the objective standard should be any higher for her than for Trump. The standard should be the same. No handicap for an amateur at this level. Besides, if Trump won all the many primary debates as he claims, he ought to do well enough against a woman in, you know, poor health.

Why do people on the right need to feel like they are brave heroes, standing against innumerable foes and impossible odds? It's the core theme of pretty much everything that comes from the right lately: the entire political system, every single media outlet, the entire education system, the entire court system - EVERYTHING - is part of a vast conspiracy to victimize the right.

Have you guys ever noticed that this country seesaws along a 50/50 split? That every branch of government alternates between veering left and veering right? That if you honestly look at all forms of media available to a reasonably inquisitive individual, that too is about 50/50 in terms of overall lean?

Anticipating debate, Trump says he thinks system rigged

“A week before the first presidential debate, Donald Trump is putting moderators on notice that he'll be watching to see if they get too rough on him.

In a series of interviews over the past week, the Republican nominee has asserted that "the system is being rigged" against him. The first of three scheduled debates between Trump and Hillary Clinton will be held on Sept. 26……..
…………….."I think it's terrible," Trump told Fox News Channel over the weekend. "They want the host to go after Trump." ……………….

…………………His statement is based on criticism NBC's Matt Lauer received in some circles for being too easy on the Republican………… putt(ing) pressure on other moderators to avoid Lauer's fate by going after him.”
“The system is rigged”

https://www.yahoo.com/news/anticipating-debate-trump-says-thinks-system-rigged-203411046.html

Not surprising for Trump providing a pre-event excuse………….blaming others for his short-comings/mistakes/ ignorance……

In the after-debate “Spin Room” media gaggle ……….

Being out-classed by HRC Trump is sure to whine “RIGGED”……..

Adding “I told you it would happen even before it happened…….

From there the excuses will flow:
They did not treat me fairly.”

They did not give me the same time to answer as they did for HRC.

I was questioned about hard stuff …..And they threw HRC “softballs” to hit out of the park.

And they asked me some real tough “gotya” questions like:
• Name the ocean closest to Washington D.C.
• What is the capitol of New York State?
• What national newspaper published in New York called you a “liar” on the FrontPage above the fold?
• Who is Pam Bondi?
Poor Donald….he never gets a fair break………

So does the public:
Voters See Debate Moderators Giving Clinton A Helping Hand - Rasmussen Reportsâ„¢
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that a plurality (46%) of Likely U.S. Voters believes most moderators will try to help Clinton in the upcoming debates. Only six percent (6%) think they will try to help Trump instead. Just 32% say most of the moderators will try to be unbiased, while 15% are undecided.
