3 year-old confused after Ted Cruz tells supporters that world is on fire

"And the Obama-Clinton foreign policy of leading from behind -- the whole world is on fire," the senator from Texas declared.

But he was stopped by a 3-year-old girl sitting in the front row.


"The world is on fire?" she yelled out.


Cruz took it and ran with it.


"The world is on fire -- yes! Your world is on fire," he exclaimed, seizing the moment as the crowd burst out into laughter.

The Texas senator was later reprimanded by RNC chairman Reince Preibus after the organization received a $1000 bill for cleaning up the water spilled on the floor by pails brought by the girl and several of her school friends.

I can now better understand why the left end of the political spectrum is so confused by Ted. Thanks for clearing that up. :lamo
 
Liberals, there is plenty to find distasteful about Ted Cruz, but this isn't it.

As much as I don't like Ted Cruz, I am utterly failing to see how this is becoming a trending news story. Who truly gives a damn?

If that wasn't enough, the kid's mom even said her kid thought the Senator was a firefighter. Then she immediately wanted a cookie.

“She looked out from my phone that she was playing with and she goes ‘the world’s on fire’ in a really high question kind of voice,” Michelle said. “A huge Cruz supporter both my husband and myself, I said to her, 'He will be the one that will put that fire out,' so she looked at him and he was a hero.”

“She really basically was like, ‘Oh oh, this is a great man,’” Michelle said. “He’s a firefighter in her mind as a three year old and was quite happy and then she wanted a cookie."

Yes, we need to focus on Real corruption, like Hilary setting up a private email server for the purpose of circumventing FOIA and Oversight Committee request and ignore this non issue about Cruz
