The NRA wasn't caving in.. they were dealing with reality... which is that in politics if you aren't on the inside, then you are on the outs. The NRA is a very astute political animal and that's in part why we still have firearms in this country. ITs why politicians worry what the NRA thinks.. and can't give a dang about the GOA.
