Harry Reid's seat not such an easy grab?

Read the rest and see that Reid has a battle

Hey, I'm not going to live and die by polls, but the one mac cited shows she had a 7 point lead a month ago and now she is 2 behind. He just didn't notice the date and I was only bringing him up to speed. No big deal. There's several months to go, lot's can happen.

We shall see since Reid keeps saying stupid things.

Reid may keep saying stupid things, but Angle IS stupid....and a complete wacko nutjob. She has peaked and is falling....The GOP blew this one....big time.

The rest of the poll shows it could go either way

Reid is showing he is no better and a corrupt politician

actually the public is given a tragic choice

retain a corrupt incumbent of average IQ
or insert a stupid partisan who is without a moral compass

Much as I'd like Angle to win, it should be noted that the Nevada ballot has a "none of these" option. I'm willing to bet it will get a lot of votes in this particular election... the question is, who will it take more votes from.

great time for a write in candidate to make a run ... as long as they are not corrupt or stupid

Reid average IQ. I say he is as stupid and partisan as you think Angle is

he is not close to brilliant
but she is absolutely stupid

So is he. He said no illeagals work construction in Nevada. He also said he and Obama lied and the public option will happen. This in the last month. He is stupid

Again you are wrong, Obama is currently at 47%. Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports™

It's important to remember a few things (and this is true about all Presidents, not just Obama):

1. We're talking a few percentage points here. When they make the charts that only show the range between 40 and 60, the fall looks huge, but if you do a bigger chart, it looks statistically insignificant:

It may not be as high as he would like but it hasn't dropped hugely lately.

2. Obama's numbers are about at the same place Reagan was at this point in his term. It's still early yet.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12 (see trends).
That’s the highest level of Strong Approval for the president since mid-May.

But how long before your side declares martial law??
I don't see "my side" ever declaring martial law. It will not happen.

Which is exactly what each and every Democrat espouses!!!
No it isn't. We don't espouse it all. I know I certainly don't espouse it, for instance.

That's an interesting link, because if you go to it and click on "trends" you can see how his approval / disapproval rating has been pretty steady for almost a year now. It wavers slightly -- mostly within the margin of error -- but certainly is not the huge fall that people are saying is going on. In fact, as you pointed out in the excerpt you posted, his "Strongly Approve" ratings are the highest they have been for months.

Conclusion? He's not doing too well but he has not lost support in about a year. It's been steady.

He's been losing support very, very slowly, at a pace of at most 1% approval per month. But over time it's been getting noticeably lower. Gallup (Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval) shows he was at 55% approval a year ago as apposed to about 45% now. Lots of others put him at slightly under 45%, but the trend is the same.

Angle is the gift that keeps on giving.
Angle: Reporters Should Only 'Ask The Questions We Want To Answer' (VIDEO) | TPMDC

Sharron Angle has further expounded on her strategy of courting conservative media and avoiding more mainstream sources -- it's not just about money, as she's said before, but also about only being asked the questions she wants.

"We needed to have the press be our friend," Angle said in an interview that aired on Fox over the weekend.

"Wait a minute. Hold on a second. To be your friend?" said a disbelieving Carl Cameron. Before Angle could fully answer, he added: "That sounds naive." Apparently this was too much for even him.

"Well, no," said Angle. "We wanted them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported."

I mean, we all know politicians secretly desire this, but to say it out loud?

****ing bonkers, that one.

Really I hate to sound sexist here, but I guess I will should any of the "Palin Force" be running for office? Am I the only one that kind of regrets the fact that women can drive, vote and other things when these women open their mouth or do anything? lol j/k but no really I'm not. am I? I dunno I'm tired. bbl

It's very easy to see -- one step out of hell and closer to escaping is better than none. Angle represents that and I think given Harry's history we'll finally see him out of work for the Congress.

I don't know...to me Angle represents one step further in...not one step towards escape.

All you have to do to understand the complete impotence of the Senate is to look at the leaders of the two parties in that august body. McConnell is no better than Reid, and they both should be sent back to the minors in favor of some common-sense centrists that can get the job done.
