Joe Biden released a new commercial featuring his 1967 green Chevy Corvette, with predictions about the electric future of the U.S. auto industry. His vehicle only gets 12.3 miles per gallon, leaving a large carbon footprint. Well, at least he’s saving fossil fuels by not traveling around the country.

at least post a picture of it.

ooh. want. however, i'd probably choose the hardtop, and maybe '63 instead.

It wasn't a Corvette it was a Porsche. An no, that's not his wife.

First openly gay president? He could well be.

There was an article about it in Car and Driver while he was still VP.

He loves the car but when he was VP his driving of it was ver very limited. Which was something he regretted.

I expect Biden has a great taste in cars and it looks like he kept that one stock which is great for a What I'd Do Differently: Vice President Joe Biden

Do you have a point?

Does his wife let him put gas in it? Or is it just a "Joe Cool" prop. :lamo

i don't know. you'd have to ask her. i haven't spoken with the Bidens since ever.

And they say Trump isn't losing. Just look at these threads!

It was a wedding gift from his father. While VP he was allowed by the SS to drive 3 times in 8 years

My point was he's showing off his '67 Vette to his boyfriend instead of his wife or girlfriend. Don't hate me for that.

the corvette is cool; the two trillion poured down the dumper for climate change is idiotic necessary for addressing global warming

Fixed it for you.

The picture you are showing is a corvette, his corvette

It's a Porsche Corvette! I think that they only made that model for three months in 1967, and all were destroyed except one due to copyright infringement. I read an article about it in I'm ****ing Wrong magazine back in high school.

So do you drive an all electric vehicle or what. imo, you are jealous he has 67 vet.

Every wonder what Trump's carbon footprint is every time he goes golfing? At least he isn't out campaigning.:lamo

He got it for a wedding present from his father. I am sure his wife has been in it many times. His sons as a birthday gift had the engine rebuilt. I expect it has been in the family for decades

Driving around in a gas guzzler might not be good optics for a "green" candidate.

Seeing as Biden has a plan that would affect nationwide energy sources and Trump has done everything he can to push us back to coal and strip environmental protections in any number of areas, I'm not sure 'optics' matters much. Nobody to whom AGW or more generally pollution is a concern will compare the two candidates' policies, and conclude that Trump is the better option simply because Biden has a classic car.

That's especially true when he apparently had little to no time to drive it as VP and will have none at all if President.

You confused a Vette with a Porsche. Whyever should I think you know what you're talking about when you think that guy is a boyfriend?
