Is Trump Creating an Opening for a Republican Challenger?

No. McCain took the only honorable course. There was no way to know whether/how much of it was accurate, and sorting that out was critically important. It still is.

He was a disproportionately powerful senator, he sat on committees, had clearances, and had political pull. He almost singlehandidly armed Syrian rebels who immediately turned over their weapons to ISIS for example

The left in the western world has socialist authoritarian tendencies and is working to eliminate all constitutional rights, this is something they openly say, and practice in other countries and Trump is keeping them from the power they desire. Nothing hard to understand. It’s not a word salad at all because if you’re at all aware of political issues you see the point being made

We’re not the ones bringing bike locks to peaceful protests and calling Chelsea Clinton responsible for a shooting in NZ. You know, Trump himself spread lies and slander about Obama for years. Obama knew the were lies and paid them little attention. Remarkably different to the way Trump handles so called slander.

No he didn’t. That is simply not true. Trump criticized Obama over policy issues and his handling of a minor personal issue. Not slander
