Michael Avenatti has spent what he calls a “sizable” amount of money on the ad, which targets the national divide on President Donald Trump’s administration. “We the people,” a host of different faces say to the camera, “are mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore.”

The ad’s beginning recalls the famous speech from the 1976 movie Network, then immediately shifts into its modern rhetoric. In true modern political and fashion, lines are spoken by a montage of different people. “Enough with the lies,” one intones. “Enough with the bigotry,” says another. “If you put big money first and us second, your time is done.”

No, Democrats/liberals are not rallying around Avenatti. Yes, there are those that like him. He's anti-Trump after all. However from what I have seen most also see him as an opportunistic scumbag. Between the fact that he owes the IRS big time and the Swetnik claim turning out to be fake he has no chance in hell of gathering a large enough base to even begin to make a serious run at the Presidency. The guys done. And just like Hillary he just doesn't realize it yet.
 
There are going to be at least a dozen Democratic candidates in 2020. The fact that you think the Democrats have already chosen Avenatti a year before the primaries even started shows how desperate you are for any kind of win at all. Looks like you'll have to wait like the rest of us.
 
There's going to be a line up of republicans too if Trump runs again.

Democrats stupidly think Trump is stupid so they stupidly bring out their own stupid democrat to play the fool in stupid hopes the stupid creep will somehow stupidly get elected.

I think Avanatti is confusing a fawning press with a fawning public. Plus he seems convinced that there are enough stupid democrats out there that will send him lots of money. And hes probably right about that. BUt the guy wont be the nominee. THe guy has no base, no message, no experience. All he has is hatred for Trump. While that will give him support from the lunatic liberal base, he will have to share that support with every other Trump hating loon that gets in the race. Hes a <1% candidate.

Avenutti should be focusing on his legal issues. Doesn't he still have a thing where he's been accused of tax fraud or something?
