Most Democrats were in awe once Trump got elected, never realizing that much of the reason for Trump's victory is that people got sick of being labeled bigots simply for disagreeing with just about any leftist argument. The leftists are ramping up identity politics again to a fever pitch, will this motivate more people to vote against them with the possible outcome of the Republicans keeping the House?

The idea that " people got sick of being labeled bigots simply for disagreeing with just about any leftist argument" is unbelievable. Most people don't get labeled bigots except for the tiny minority that express their resentment on political boards like this one. The term "leftist" is used exclusively by rightists. Those people describe themselves as "liberals," "Democrats," or "progressives."

The impending changes in the House are due to the fear and disgust caused by Trump and his stooges. This thread is a good example of the hateful, dishonest trolling which has gotten the once respected GOP into its current pickle.

Maybe in a future election, but based off the early voting numbers, not this time.

Greetings, JC. :2wave:

Hard to tell, but don't forget that they just could NOT accept that Hillary lost the election - partly because Trump just outworked her on the campaign trail - but they started with their bad-mouthing ranting and raving about Trump even before that. This election was unusual because a non-political outsider won it, and they just don't think that's fair, IMO, but they overlook the fact that he also beat every Republican who was running for the office against him! :moody: Strange times we live in, right?

What are examples of fear and disgust by Trump and his stooges?

Big hug back at ya! Last week the temperatures around here were in the low to mid 30s - Beggars Night was COOOOOLD! This week, which is a week closer to Winter, it's been in the mid to high 40s - it's warming up! The leaves on the trees are the same color as they were in August, and the Weather people are telling us we are at least two weeks behind on that! AARGH! This is NE Ohio for crying out loud, so when we finally have leaf drop and then it snows, raking leaves is going to be difficult to do just on weight of soggy leaves alone. I'm also beginning to wonder if I'm supposed to start a garden or something, just to keep up! :lamo

The two strongest tools in the democrat arsenal are propaganda and voter fraud. The do stand a chance at gaining some serious advantages due to those unjust methods.

You must have slept through this week's elections where nearly two-thirds of the newly elected Representatives are women!
