Money and Politics

I was listening to the news this afternoon and paraphrasing, this is what I heard; the election in Texas was the topic. The reporter was reporting on the Senate race between O’Rourke and Cruz. The polls show a race separated by 0-4 points. The commentator went on to say that the Republicans have to divert assets (money) from other contested races to Texas, thereby putting strains on the other contests. This could be about the Democrats just as easy. Until we can get a handle on money and politics things are never going to change. The money buys advertising time and goes into people’s pockets. There is a saying that we get the government we deserve........
