This is absolutely wonderful news for the people of California.

New York billionaire George Soros’ multimillion-dollar effort to reshape California's criminal justice system by propping up progressive district attorney candidates backfired Tuesday, with most of his candidates suffering major defeats.

Soros, together with other wealthy liberal donors and groups, spent millions on would-be prosecutors who favor lower incarceration rates, crackdowns on police misconduct and changes in a bail system that they argue discriminates against the poor.

But most of the money went to waste as their candidates lost to more traditional law-and-order prosecutors who didn’t share progressive views or have hostile attitudes toward police.

George Soros (real name Schwartz) has spent a lifetime attempting to destroy the peace and stability of the United States, UK, and several other countries. Soros is a globalist predatory investor, and you can sign a petition to ask President Trump to revoke his citizenship here:

What does his former name have to do with this?

Th only ways he can lose his citizenship is if:

1. He perjured himself on his citizenship application.
2. Joining a subversive organization intent on overthrowing the government, but only within 5 years of naturalization.
3. Refusing to testify before Congress in relation to jointing that subversive organization, but only within 10 years of naturalization.
4. Receiving a dishonorable discharge from the military if your naturalization was a result of your military service.

Oh, and pushing a liberal agenda and supporting liberal candidates does not constitute “subversive activity” under the law.

So if you are going to spend your time trying to get people to sign petitions for Trump to do things, maybe focus things that are actually within his power to do.

Billionaires don't get expelled. Billionaire Oleg Deripaska has ties to Putin and Russian organized crime, and Robert Mueller was likely the source behind him receiving a diplomatic passport. Billionaire Saudi prince Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud had ties to the Al Qaeda hijackers from the 9/11 attacks. Not only was he not ordered removed, Bush actually shared deeply secret information with him.

"Bandar endured controversy over allegations in the book Plan of Attack by Bob Woodward that President George W. Bush informed him of the decision to invade Iraq ahead of Secretary of State Colin Powell."

The Soros petition is more about principle, and sending a message.

You have the audacity to use principle? And what message would that be- hate the Jews?

If Drumph is fair use, so is Schwartz. Stop diverting here Janfu. Your social justice warrior-hood is needed elsewhere.

Explain to me why it was ok for people to repetitively mention Donald Trump's paternal surname when discussing him, but it's off limits to mention Soros' paternal surname. Try to structure your reply without sounding like a hypocrite.

All the more reason to soak the rich so that can't use their fortunes to subvert America.

I don't recall anyone in this thread calling Trump, Drumph, and the original question pertained to the relavance of Soros' name to this thread. I'll try to do my best to comment on the usage of Drumph, however, even though I wasn't the person asked.

It originated from a John Oliver segment. I forget who it was in regards to, but Trump made a point of using someone's original family name, and this was John's way of holding him to his own words. The implication is that the name sounds funny, and isn't as flattering as 'Trump'. Oliver compared both names to sounds that are both awe-inspiring and unflattering. People ran with it for the same reason that people ran with the tiny hands bit.

Would you say that this is comparable to the use of Soros' family name? Is the point to highlight the way the name sounds? Has Soros ever similarly critisized someone for not going with their original family name? It would be interesting if that were the case.
