Eliabeth Warren sent out a message, which I excerpt in abbreviated form:
But let’s be honest: My mother’s story isn’t possible today. A family of three can't make a mortgage payment on a minimum wage job. Adjusted for inflation, the minimum wage today is lower than it was in 1965 – about 24% percent lower. Mothers are working harder than ever, but today, a minimum wage job won’t keep a momma and a baby out of poverty. Over the past generation, from 1970 to 2015, wages have been flat – but housing costs have risen by 50%. Health insurance expenses have doubled. College degree costs more than tripled. And the cost of child care? It has gone up nearly 1000%.

My mother didn’t have much when she died, but she knew that her four kids had a fighting chance to build a future – and that made her life successful. Where mothers and families end up in life today is about more than hard work and good fortune – the rules for a level playing field matter too.

It's time for a female president, boys-'n-girls. The Electoral College, this disgraceful un-democratic mechanism that manipulates the popular-vote, stole hers from Hilary. And, as a consequence, we have a PotUS afflicted with acute narcissim.

That occasion might come in another two years. But, this year, for those who think this country has been seriously distressed by a dunce-PotUS, we can show him the power of Congress. Just like the Replicants did to Obama in 2010.

For those who want change, soon and badly, November is your target! Don't lose sight of it.

Those who think that Donald Dork will address and correct the issues in red within Elizabeth's message above are hopelessly beyond political reality. Sanity is telling us that we, the sheeple, must take back at least the HofR this year, and the presidency in 2020.

If not, your standard-of-living will remain in a steep, steep decline whilst boy-Donald plays silly games in his presidential sandbox ...

hiawatha is a multimillionaire. She can easily afford to open many franchises in any neighborhoods in America. She can place managers in them who think like she does. She can pay $15 an hour, give full benefits, time off, etc. But she won't. Ask yourself why. And "that's not her line of work" isn't an answer...there are millions of business absentee owners who simply do the backing.

It's time for a woman president! That's Warren's message. Good luck Liz. That spiel worked great for Hillary.

I wouldn't mind seeing Warren melee the President in a general election, but I'd much rather see a Rand Paul or John Kasich primary his ass and force him to watch from the sidelines or make a doomed Independent run in 2020 and 2024.

No, it's time for a good, qualified president with the vision, drive and passion to do the hard work and advocacy required to engage in sorely needed, substantive reforms, who may or may not be a woman.

Also, I don't see Warren being at all explicit about the gender of any presidential hopeful, or the necessity of a specifically female president.

I agree...its time for a well qualified candidate...that happens to be both a woman AND a minority.

Madame President...

Heck, if she runs, I'd vote major party for the first time since 2003.

It doesn't require a female president, although I do think Liz Warren would make a fine one indeed, a fine president, that is.
Her ownership of a vagina has nothing to do with it however. Her ownership of past membership in the GOP is much more valuable.
She KNOWS the failings of the Republican Party today. She also knows the weaknesses.

And she's a good and committed liberal with some sound ideas for both economic and social health and she understands how to work within our capitalist system.

I can't imagine voting for anybody based on gender, orientation, or race.

Where have you been?

Same place I've been most of my life, that place where an individual is judged on his or her ideas and character. ;)
