That's what I read on Google-polls show that all Democratic canddates beat Trump.

If anyone has proof otherwise,let's see it please.

2020 is 2 years away, so the polls don't mean much. Personally, I think Trump will be a one term president at best, but that is by no means assured. Democrats need to concentrate on this year's election.

This far out, I wouldn't trust ANY polls about 2020.

2016 polls didn’t take into account the coordinated collusion between the GOP and Russia in our 2014 and 2016 elections.

Does this mean it's finally Hillary's turn to be POTUS in 2020? She lost in the demorat primary in 2008, lost in the general election in 2016 (but won the popular vote - proving that she is super popular) so it must be her turn in 2020.

Shrub, the only proof won't be available until November '20. As of now we don't know who's actually running, on on either side.

That's how the polls read on Nixon in 1970, which was the equivalent point in his Presidency. I was active in Students for McGovern. Famous last words.

The Russians are everywhere they want to be in this world and every thinking and honest man and woman knows it. We’re now left with the next Margaet Thatcher to be the Leader of the free world, and the Israelis better than any Nation know this ...

No. These are polls that were taken after he cheated on hs wife-Twice-Once with a pornstar and once with a Playboy Playmate

That will have some effect on some votes.

I doubt that this election will be as close as the last one.

I don't doubt that a generic democratic candidate, or most of the big name ones that are actually included in polls, are showing to beat Donald Trump.

I also am not surprised that one of the most brazen "Trust me, Hillary's winning / Trust me, Trumps[republicans] not winning....I guarantee it!" types on the forum for years leading up to the actual election...would start a thread like this, especially with the asinine faux arrogant chest puff of a last line.

Note, back when you were making such kinds of proclamations, polls weren't looking good for Trump either. Lets be frank, you're the type that will brazenly keep throwing out your opinions as facts and guarantees like tossing spaghetti at a wall, never taking ownership for the strands landing on the ground but quick to gloat and crow about the ones that stick.

We're 2 years out from the next election, with no actual front runner or clear Democratic candidate, which creates a situation where the opposition becomes idealized compared to the clear figure. This is similar to how Obama also routinely had polling showing him losing out to Republicans as we slowly crept near 2012, but the closer we came to having actual faces and realistic figures as the opposition, those numbers shifted and ultimately flipped. Looking at polls these far out do zero but give a mild snapshot of the current point in time and tell people very little useful information relating to the actual election.

This is even more true when you consider 2016, when we got a stark reminder yet again that elections aren't decided by a straight majority win of the vote across the nation.

So yes, the polls show him doing poorly now. And he may very well do poorly come 2020. But one doesn't really have much to do with the other, and the value of them, or of paying attention to them, at the moment in this fashion is basically nothing.
