Why Do Uneducated Poor White Americans Consistently Vote Republican?

So in America we have choices on basically anything we want. More options then truly needed. So why only 2 political parties? And please name the last socialist president? Two basic questions?

Pragmatists and idealists, conservatives and liberals, however you wish to label them have been around since the beginning of time. Neither side is ever completely right or completely wrong, and both sides have done terrible things, awful things to get their way. Most of the time it is best to stand aside an let them duke it out. But very once in awhile one side or the other thinks it best to just blow the whole thing up just to get their way. When that happens you can't stand aside any longer. You have to pick a side.

You win GOP Trump was right I can't take it no more all this winning. Trump was also right the news is fake and well so is he. He is apart of the entertainment of misinformation. But as an independent I give up both parties suck. And the GOP base would rather have a LYING wanna be king then a president whom will at lease try to United the people. So to those whom support Trump and are poor continue to watch the rich get richer. The concept of America or a United States has come to an end.

Identity politics. They're not all 'uneducated' or 'poor', but the things they have in common are they are mostly white, somewhat rural, somewhat religious, socially conservative. In this they find the Republican party has their backs, even though economically it doesn't really share their interests. People instinctively move towards someone more or less 'like them'. Then it gets codified, distilled, passed down until it becomes tradition and culture.

One could complain they are 'uninformed' about the fact that the GOP is fleecing them (and everyone else) but misinformed would be a better word. People choose the information sources that best reflect their worldview (as they do with a party and community above) and discount others. In this case those information sources that parrot the party line sell just enough kool-aid to keep them happy.

So none of it is an unreasonable position to take: it is in fact very human. Now one could argue more or less same of the left.

I don't see anything of what you say. I know that there apparently was problems in Michigan which counted votes for the Dems that were supposed to be for the GOP

There is no rule that says I can't respond to your post. So sterilizing women worth another tax cut? Is ICE sterilizing women part of Trump's strong borders policy? Do you still want to blindly defend ICE as they sterilize women? Is this part of the Libertarian small-government ideology?

Is there evidence Obama did something similar? I am not saying he couldn't have, but I do have to ask, I do know Obama did a lot of bad things in regards to this system, I not an Obama defender on these issues.

Trump did not create this system, he did make it worse though.

Read the article. It's immigrant women in ICE detention camps. I hope you are not going to say them crossing the border makes it okay for ICE to sterilize them. Crossing the border is a misdemeanor and forced sterilization is a crime against humanity. Is the tax cut really worth this?

Trump wins voters of rich people with tax cuts and then when he is in power, he has ICE sterilize women. I think a lot of rich people turn a blind eye to Trump violating human rights because they care more about getting paid than anything else. Money is more important to them than the rights of people who are different.

I don't think a single Trump voter voted for him due to the alleged sterilization. Biden doesn't care about the rights of gun owners or tax payers and can you prove Trump approved of this ALLEGED sterilization scandal?
