I know what you're getting at, but how do you explain 2012? Those with less than a High School education went to Obama 64-35 over Romney and those with just a High School education also went to Obama 51-48. Those who graduated college went to Romney 51-47.

In 2016 we seen a reversal, where Trump won the High School or less vote 51-46 while college graduates went to Clinton 49-44%.

So what does it mean, perhaps High School or less folks are more attracted or will vote for the candidate with more charisma? Obama had it over Romney and Trump certainly over Clinton.

That too...and probably more so. I think the founders knew full well how to use dog whistle propaganda to alter public opinion. John Adams even passed an Alien and Sedition Act to censor Thomas Jefferson's party's dog whistle propaganda against the government.

But I think the founders may have only wanted people that owned property to vote since they had a vested interest in government protecting their property rights...and blacks were considered property. The people that didn't own property, ie: slaves, indentured servants, the poor and uneducated, vagabonds, riff raff, etc...meant they had no vested interest to form a government to protect something they didn't own.

Protections for the equal rights of all the people, not just property owners wasn't included in the constitution. The BoR was an after thought and only included at Jefferson's insistence. But for him, protecting equal rights mostly meant freedom of speech and the press, and separation of church and state and positioned it as the First Amendment to the Constitution.

For those who haven't been paying attention; progressive policies are bad for America and Americans, regardless of race.

The poor and uneducated of all races are kept dependent on government and its never ending promises of ever more free stuff.

Which in reality is only 54 years during which time they became and have remained loyal Democrat voters.

The first thing to collapse was their strong black Christian family unity which has since snowballed into this 21st Century human disaster.

Sorry but the facts show that black Americans began voting as a bloc for the democrats back in the 30s. Its more tied in with the presentation of the 'New Deal'.

1963 was the year that black voters (as a majority bloc) began their most prominent/permanent move to the Dem Party which snowballed in 1968 and has lasted to this day.

I don't dispute what you're saying but the election years you're referring to were simply spikes in time.

How did they become so misinformed? By living in a right wing media bubble for the last two decades. Right wing talk show hosts that regurgitate information, then spoon feed it back to their audiences in 3 or more daily hours of hysterical hyperbole, half truths and enough conspiracy theories to fill the capital building from floor to ceiling.

As long as a large segment of this society refuses to turn the channel from FOX NEWS and listens to the above everyday. Never reading any other news than news that was specifically designed for them on right wing news sites---they will remain as misinformed & ignorant as they are today--and they will eventually be lead to another Trump candidate. Which is why the Republican party should add in Super Delegates as the Democrat party has done to eliminate the stupid vote.
