Why Do Uneducated Poor White Americans Consistently Vote Republican?

Well, just so long as the masses are scapegoating each other and not questioning the power structure.

If only those who who'd purchased a can of cola in the month preceding the election had been able to vote, then Trump would have won 19 states!!

Oh.. sorry, your post misled me into thinking this thread was just for making worthless, inane statements.

interesting response given the amount of time it took. It does show something interesting though, about the divide between those who vote GOP and those who voted DEM

LOL the irony of this post is absolutely astounding.

Do you realize that uneducated white Americans think things have been getting worse for them in spite of overwhelmingly voting republican?

have you ever figured out that voting for dependency and more government is not really in the best interests of those who are poor but don't want to remain in that status?

Education and intelligence are not one in the same. Although not always as verbally articulate, someone who has had to work and survive in the real world usually has much more common since and awareness that than a college graduate who has never worked outside academia, journalism, politics or a government bureaucracy.

Have you figured out that entire perceptual reality is false?

Both elect Goldman Sachs to the white house every single time.

Why is it an interesting response? I just stumbled upon the thread today - posted in it (#46) then decided to read back through and saw what you posted.

And your statistic does not really show anything interesting. Property ownership is inextricably linked with age (it's probably the best correlator for prop ownership there is) so all it's saying is that GOP voters are generally older.

have you figured out that a party that depends on the votes of the dependent and the poor has no real interest in lifting people out of poverty and dependence?

just about everyone I grew up with was a home owner by the time they hit 30. now I do have lots of college classmates who continued to rent for years since they lived in NYC though most of them now own their "flats" or "floors" there now

That's what partisanship is for.

"partisanship"? Is this a foreign word? Look the rich and powerful has truly won in this game of politics. So the poor and middle class of all the races in America might have more in common with each other but instead of unity and maybe forming a strong independent party. We will stick with our culture norms and racist attacks because the rich and powerful has won this battle of deceit control and lies.

Buying a home now is a completely different proposition to buying one in the 70's or 80's.

Bingo, stuck, this entire society is stuck.

Privatized gians versus socialized losses for the Wall Street bankster class
Internalized profit versus externalized risk and expense for the "job creator" class
Socliasm for the aristocracy versus laissez-faire capitalism for the masses

Please explain to me how an issue which is definitively described as a lack of money can be solved by taking away even more money.

Depends upon who you wish to take the money from, "the people" are always fair game, the substantial people are off limits.
