For sure, but after what we have seen in recent memory Trump is likely to get major brownie points from the American people for honesty whether he succeeds or not.

In terms of Social Security, I am guessing that you missed the OMB nominee's confirmation hearings. The top budget guy for Trump wants to cut benefits. Sadly his benefit cuts deal with the problem as it was 10 or 15 years ago.

The whole thing is proforma so it does not matter in any way so far as governance goes. The D's think that they are helping their brand but that is highly unlikely, they are actually undermining it.

Being soapbox artists who refuse to try to understand why America just picked Trump even as they find themselves completely out of power is not a winning strategy, they need to show the nation that they are going to attempt to learn how to play this game before they will inspire followers.

The 7 countries he banned are predominantly Muslim and all those coming from those countries ARE Muslims. So that is a ban on Muslims. Or is the WH simply saying, "just coincidence that they are all Muslims." The WH is attempting a play on words. Ever hear of the term black is white?

You will note that those Muslim countries he did not have a ban on are countries where he has hotels and where all those Muslim killers of Americans came from.
