So, Mr Trump, when will you release your tax returns?

I love hearing Trump saying that he doesn't pay taxes because he's "smart."

Great message to send to the citizens. Great message from the guy who will be ultimately in charge of the IRS, among other agencies.

But I don't think that the man who rants about our crumbling infrastructure and decaying military but doesn't pay a dime toward fixing them is being prevented from publishing them because of that. I think he'd probably find not paying taxes is something to brag about.

I think there are more insidious things hidden away. Like using his charity as a piggy bank, or owing hundreds of millions to overseas banks or other institutions, or something along those lines.
Do you pay more in taxes than you should? I doubt it. If Trump handles his wealth in such a way as to be able to legally escape paying income tax, he is smart.

For one thing, you don't know if he managed to escape paying taxes.
Another thing is that if he didn't pay taxes and you're pissed off about it, your gripe is with the laws that allowed it.
The last thing is that somewhere along the way those laws were passed so as to encourage certain behavior that enabled those tax deductions he and others took advantage of.

Right, we don't know. But he bragged that "that makes me smart" when Clinton challenged him on it, didn't he?
The laws that allowed it are paid for by the rich and powerful. Clinton proposes raising their taxes. Trump proposes slashing their taxes.
"Passed so as to encourage certain behaviors?" Are you SERIOUS? Well okay, as long as the "certain behaviors" include buying your own plane and a mega-yacht or two. The laws were passed because rich assholes paid for them to be passed.

Besides, I think he's proud of not paying taxes (see the boast above). There's something way worse that he's hiding.

Yeah, it's probably not that he doesn't pay taxes like the rest of us dumb schmucks. An ass like Trump would be proud of that. It's probably more about owing hundreds of millions of dollars to foreign banks. Or worse.

Feel free to post your unfounded speculations. What do you think "worse" could be?

You should try to hide your desperation a bit better. Floating conspiracies doesn't do a thing to establish credibility.

Perhaps it would be helpful for some of the obsessed to consider reasons some of the tax treatments have been created.

For example, how many people are employed to build a yacht? How many people are employed to maintain it and operate it?

Would you prefer they all be unemployed?

Apparently.

I suggested an approach for you ... contact your congressperson and ask them why such tax laws exist. You may be surprised. Maybe not.

There's something way worse that he's hiding
You mean like transcripts of speeches to Wall Street bigshots?

can i ask you a simple question

where on the 1040, or any of it's associated forms, are you going to find a page that lists his debts....especially his debts to foreign banks, or worse as you call it?

give me the form number and how you would ascertain that information, please

Is that the only choice? Coddle the already rich, lower their already comparatively low taxes even more, or mass unemployment? One or the other? Fascinating.

It's not helpful to the rhetoric you're spreading to avoid the point in order to make a ridiculous statement.

You mean like transcripts of speeches to Wall Street bigshots?

The US benefited from the taxes paid on those speeches, hasn't it.
What benefits do we get from Trump's business antics?

Benefits like these.

Trump's taxes are none of your damn business.

Hillary's erased e-mails are. Hillary lies to the FBI and Congress are. Hillary's alibi on the day your Benghazi Americans were raped and murdered by those nasty Buddhists is.

What gave you that crazy idea that the lying bitch paid any taxes on those bribes?

Don't you know that Hussein granted her full Sharpton-style immunity? It was not made public to keep the dumb and happy masses from getting major league pissed off before November 8.

I take it you're not an accountant. It's complicated. Trump's son says that his return is 12-thousand pages long. But basically he calculates net worth, with a lot of complicated real estate twists and turns, and he can come out with owing nothing. The only returns of his that have been made public (79-80?) showed no taxes due. Liabilities play into the calculation, obviously. So there are in worksheets, etc.

But you don't really care, you're just defending your guy because he's going to make America great again by shaming women, lying, making fun of the disabled, lying, making racist statements, lying, slashing taxes on the rich, lying, and starting trade wars everywhere. And lying.

And let's remember that he bragged about not paying taxes, which is a little hard to take since more money is taken out of my military retirement in one month than he pays all year while he flies around in his personal 757, paid for in part with money bilked from honest workers.

She has released her tax returns and they show that she paid taxes on all of her speech income. Seriously. This is simple stuff. Are you scared of learning? Scared of facts?

Now now, you're starting to sound like Trump in one of his 3 a.m. Tweet storms. Take a breath.
No proof of bribes anywhere.
No proof of your secret scandal.
Proof of the millions of taxes paid by the Clintons are available because all their tax returns are public.

Oh lookie, Trump "the great businessman" can't even run his own foundation properly:
Trump Foundation lacks the certification required for charities that solicit money

Another sadly simplistic analysis of a sadly disproportionate taxation system. For one thing, given Trump's record on the subject, are you sure his yacht (does he have a yacht?) was built in the USA?

Another sadly misinformed view of a tax system that depends on the rich to provide the bulk of tax revenue collected.

I made no mention of Donald Trump owning a yacht.

However, on that point, why did you ignore it? Are jobs in that industry not important? Are crew jobs, or repair and maintenance jobs not important?

Apparently.

Hillary Clinton on Illegal Aliens - In her own words: "Round them up, put them, I don’t know, in buses… boxcars, in order to take them across our border.” August 28, 2015

Do you know that the quote you have on all your posts is actually Clinton characterizing what the Republicans want to do? Do you really not know that? Or...?

QUESTION: How do you plan on dealing with 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S.?

HILLARY CLINTON: Well, I'm glad you asked me that, becasue some on the other side who are already advocating to deport 11, 12 million people...

I find it the height of irony that a party which espouses small government would want to unleash a massive government effort, which might include national guard and others, to go and literally pull people out of their homes and their workplaces, round them up and, I don't know, put them in buses or boxcars, in order to take them across the border.

I find that absurd but appalling. And that's why I support comprehensive immigration reform.

1) Trump's plan, as described by Clinton, would include lots and lots of police. To Reps, that's good government. That's ok.

2) Note that Clinton never does answer the question. And no, "comprehensive immigration reform" is not an answer. It's too vague.

And what would such a proof be? A video tape where she would say: if you pay me 250k for 20 minutes of talking bs, I will do such and such for you? That kind of proof?

Many people were sentenced to life no parole on totally circumstantial evidence. With the FBI in Clintons pocket even that tape would not be sufficient because "she didn't mean it".

Did you ever ask yourself what could this lying sleaze say that is worth 250k? Or the blue dress hick getting 650k for 20 minutes of what?

Of course, the text of those speeches will never be published because they are private. But Trump's taxes are critical to the functioning of the republic.

Total nonsense. Did they need assistance to cross the border illegally on the way in? No. They came here at their own expense because they wanted to.

All we have to do to make these criminals want to go back home is to cut off all the benefits and raise the act of being here illegally to felony with 10 years in a federal slammer and forfeiture of all they own here after a grace period..

The carrot: leave voluntarily within a grace period and you can keep the loot stolen from the American taxpayers.

If they can self import, they can self deport if given compelling incentives. No police, no violence, no screaming women and crying kids.

Apparently you didn't get the memo.

Hillary Clinton, her MSM partners, and the noise machine pushing her propaganda have cancelled context this election season.

Taking comments out of context, and then lying, distorting, and fabricating a narrative around that to use against her opponents has become her campaign standard.

So, the question becomes, did those words come out of Hillary Clinton's mouth. Of course they did. Voters need to see that.

Thanks for asking.

So why isn't Hillary proud of the words she spoke to those Wall Street bigshots?

Or what she said earlier this year about those Bernie Sanders supporters that she's trying pull to her side now?
“Some are new to politics completely. They’re children of the Great Recession. And they are living in their parents’ basement. They feel they got their education and the jobs that are available to them are not at all what they envisioned for themselves. And they don’t see much of a future. If you’re feeling like you’re consigned to, you know, being a barista, or you know, some other job that doesn’t pay a lot, and doesn’t have some other ladder of opportunity attached to it, then the idea that maybe, just maybe, you could be part of a political revolution is pretty appealing.”

...

Oh lookie, NY AG Eric Schneiderman, who wants to use his office to jail anyone who doesn't conform to the AGW line, has decided now would be a good time to suggest he's looking into the Trump Foundation and WAPO plays their part.
Nothing political going on there. No sir.
I know what some people might be thinking ... "The Trump Foundation? Why isn't he looking into the Clinton Foundation?"
You'd think that, huh.
I suppose if you're auditioning for Hillary to pick you to play the role of US Attorney General that would be counter productive.

As for bribes, you don't know how the Clintons got so rich, do you.
