Cruz to Trump: ‘Donald, you’re a sniveling coward. Leave Heidi the hell alone.’

REALLY...............That old!

I wonder. The fascination that people who lean right have with women's looks in a profession that has nothing to do with looks is bizarre. They loved Palin because she was hot. They hate Michelle Obama because she's not petite. They hate Hillary because she's not a milf. And of course let's not forget the Madeline Albright jokes. And now they're eating each other alive because one wife posed half nude and the other had a picture of herself taken at an awkward moment. Seriously, the Republican party has some skeletons in it. Somebody needs to inform them that this is a Presidential campaign and not the Miss America bikini competition.

The campaign becomes more interesting every day

Yes, it is one of those biased left wing websites but there is a video from CNN
When asked by reporters about Trump’s attacks on his wife, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said, “It’s not easy to tick me off. I don’t get angry often. But you mess with my wife, you mess with my kids, that’ll do it every time. Donald, you’re a sniveling coward. Leave Heidi the hell alone.”

Cruz responded with anger when asked if he will support Trump is he wins the nomination, “I’m gonna beat him for the nomination. He is not — I am answering the question. Donald Trump will not be the nominee.”

Trump has been on a new crusade to show that he hates all women, not just Megyn Kelly, by attacking Ted Cruz’s wife.

It was NBC’s Hallie Jackson, who asked Cruz if he would support Trump as the nominee - he did sign a pledge vowing to support whoever wins the nomination.

Cruz: I am answering the question. Donald Trump will not be the nominee.

Jackson: He’s leading right now and you just looked into that camera and said he was a coward. Will you support him as the nominee?

Cruz: Donald Trump will not be the nominee

Let them go on as there are..........women don't like what they see/hear now.............Come November it will be the women's vote ALONE which will give a Democrat victory..........

You think they should have figured it out by now..............its women who rule the roost...........

Remember these guys represent the same clowns who use "Cankles" as a talking point.

You mean as opposed to the ones who used the "magic underwear" against Romney?

Women in general aren't all that thrilled with Cankles either. Funny, most guys didn't know what cankles were, pretty sure that particular Hillary meme was started by a woman.

Welcome to the reality TV culture. People can't tell the difference between a Presidential election and the TV show Survivor.

Like, woah, dude--are you saying were, like, stewpid? A dumbocracy, maybe?

Pretty soon I expect to see a U.S. President who meets foreign leaders with a beer in his hand and several days' growth of beard, dressed in baggy shorts and flip-flops, and wearing a T-shirt that says "S*** Happens." His foul-mouthed "First Old Lady" will have a pierced tongue and wear stretchy garments with some pro athlete's uniform number, skimpy enough to reveal the roll of blubber hanging over her pants and the Harley tat on the small of her back. Klass with a capital "K."

Egad...even Condoleezza Rice has gotten into the mudslinging.

Here's a picture of her talking about Donald Trump:

I know. They should have used his multiple wives.

Correct. It was. It was released, as reported, from a Super PAC, which Cruz doesn't / can't directly control.

In this case, I'd be willing to call that Super PAC a bunch of assholes as well.

Ted Cruz didn't have a problem with the ads until they stopped airing in Utah. He's a coward and the notion that he had no idea how the ads attacking Melania Trump came about would require a surprising degree of naivete.

i believe cruz' refusal to declare that he would not support the man he just called a sniveling coward for disparaging his wife, heidi, will be cruz' campaign ending comment not unlike romney's 47 percent statement (see at 1:21):

yet is was a photo of trump's wife that was FIRST published as a source of derision

i missed cruz publicly condemning such a use of melanoma's 15 year old nudie pic publicly presented to advance crazy ted's campaign

Think about this. If this were a campaign for high school class president, they'd all be on detention. I am embarrassed for America, this has become an episode of a very bad television show

Trump, what an asshole. Wifes and kids are known to be out of bounds for political rhetoric and attacks. He should know better than that.

Trump wasn't the one that started it. Blame the Pro-Cruz ad that featured Trump's wife that fired this thing off.

As posted earlier, the Super Pac that started this **** are assholes too. No reason to denigrate a presidential campaign with this sort of ****. It's ridiculous.

absolutely
being unaffiliated and beyond the control of any candidate the PAC can engage in inappropriate advertising/messaging with impunity
yet another problem that citizens united sanctioned

Pretty sure she was talking about Little Marco there.

And really? Lyin Ted calling someone else sniveling? I mean, has the guy ever watched himself speak?

Experts say Cruz is lying about affairs

Behaviorally, when the facts are the ally of an individual, he or she almost always tends to focus on the facts of the matter at hand. In this case, if the key fact was that he had not had these affairs, Cruz would almost certainly have been much more strongly focused on the denial. That is, he very likely would have made a point of explicitly stating something along the lines of, “I did not have these affairs.”

Yet at no point in either statement did Cruz say that. He implied it by saying the allegations are false, and that they’re lies, but behaviorally, such statements are not equivalent to saying he never had the affairs. Even if we were to overlook that fact and consider his statements to be a denial, there is an overwhelmingly higher proportion of attack behavior compared to the effort expended at denial. This type of lopsided attack-to-denial ratio is very consistent with what we have historically seen with deceptive people when allegations are levied against them.

Given the lack of additional information upon which to conduct a more comprehensive behavioral analysis, this is nothing more than our initial opinion and assessment, and we will continue to follow this matter very closely.

Was Heidi Cruz the one who created that ad? And is this what we can expect from The Donald if he becomes President; "Well he did it to me first!".

I feel like I'm watching kindergartners.

Yeah, let's talk about the woman's bouts of depressions. Maybe if you're real lucky Stone can give you can get a peek into her underwear drawer too.

i was not previously aware of her deep involvement in crafting the NAFTA and GATT giveaways
don't share your underwear intrigue

Trump, what an asshole. Wifes and kids are known to be out of bounds for political rhetoric and attacks. He should know better than that.

If you want your wife and kids to be out of bounds in politics, then you best not put your wife and kids on the political stage, then declare them off limits. It's probably also prudent to not attack the other wife, or allow her to be attacked.

Cruz did both. Payback is hell.

Yeah, let's talk about the woman's bouts of depressions. Maybe if you're real lucky Stone can give you can get a peek into her underwear drawer too.

So, you're saying we should ignore her political involvements?

Both Cruz and Trump are acting like utter fools.....such is the state of the Republican party today.

Cruz may not have been behind the super-PAC ad, but he implicitly condoned in when he didn't immediately condemn it....so Cruz is not an innocent party to this childhood in any way.

It is a very sad commentary on what has become of the GOP. But they only have themselves to blame.
