Scholar's “13 Keys” Predict Another Obama Win

It's funny how some people appear not to know how our system works and only become shocked and dismayed when their guy loses. Where's the campaign to change the system? Oh, it doesn't exist because those people are acrtually the fringe doing blah blah for their side.

Our representatives accurately reflect the American public. We get the government we deserve.

We do get the government we deserve. However, with low turnout being a problem from time to time, I wonder to what extent our representatives truly represent ALL of the American people? This is one reason why we should be doing all we can to get 100% turnout - sadly, some are doing the direct opposite in the pursuit of narrow partisanship.

Elections where the popular vote does not determine the winner is not the norm.

For national elections in this country it is.

It's only happened 4 times in our entire history. And I am not aware when the Supreme Court ever before overturned the popular vote results.

No one has claimed the keys can predict Supreme Court action.

The SC has NEVER overturned the popular vote results. The only election the SC ruled on in 2000 was the Florida results in which Bush won the popular vote.

You consider 4 out of 56 to be the norm, do you?

"There have been 56 elections under the present system. Of those 56, 4 were not won by the winner of the popular vote.** That’s only 7.14%."

Thanks for your opinion, but I've already provided documentation that the SC halted the recount in progress in Florida. It is a matter of public record.

I hate to break this to you, but the presidential election is not determined by the national popular vote. Didn't you learn that in the 4th grade ???

And it didn't matter did it because Bush won Florida any way.

We will never know as the SC ordered a halt to the recount.

I just learned of this tonight and found it very interesting. Scholar's non-partisan "13 Keys" system predicts another Obama win. They have made the correct prediction for every presidential election since 1984. If 6 of the 13 keys are negative, the candidate loses.

I think they left out 9%+ unemployment, almost 0% GDP growth and deficits over a trillion dollars.

I think they left out 9%+ unemployment, almost 0% GDP growth and deficits over a trillion dollars.

Or, that they consider those were problems inherited from the GOP, and the GOP's only plan now to resolve them is just more of the same trickle down economics that created the problems in the first place.

I thought you said the answers to the questions weren't subjective...........which is it ???

They aren't. That was my opinion in response to this opinion:

Ahhh, so they are not subjective unless you want to make a snarky reply to another's post............ gotcha.

What do you find "snarky" in this post:

LOL! A conservative blog........much better! Now are we supposed to guess which story you are talking about, and how does it relate to the topic of this thread?

Right, it is a lie, he hasn't moved to TX and none of what he stated is true. I expected nothing less from you. Google it and find a site that better suits your liberal agenda, they are there.

Google what, and how does it relate to the 13 keys?

A couple more from you, glad to see NBC now considered a conservative site by you

You just posted the NBC link, what I was referring to was your conservative Illinois Policy Institute blog you posted before

I find no mention of the 13 keys anywhere in the links you provided. Would you mind providing a quote where it is referenced, with a link?

What you see is why Obama will lose in 2012 as the people today realize who they elected, an unqualified empty suit who was a product of corrupt Chicago politics.
