The Democrats wanted to block the confirmation of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. But the evidence from Blasey Ford was specious and flimsy.
The Democrats wanted to nail Trump with a campaign violations crime charging Trump with paying off pornstar Stormy Daniels with money designated a campaign funds.
 
Maybe the best solution would be to begin anew from scratch?

The Democrats don't go after congreemen or senators that don't votes with the rest.

Trump made big play over the fact that two Democratic congressmen voted against impeachment - now you make a claim that the Democratic party is Stalinist and behaves like Trump with GOP senators.

Which is it ?

Both were worthy and justified.

Kavanaugh is unworthy of a seat on the Supreme Court and how Trump retains the support of Christians is a mystery (especially in light of a recent editorial in a Christian magazine)

Every Christian voter should be on this forum. Just here they would see why every Christian should vote straight Republican in every election for every office. The pro-active rabid hatred of Christians and Christianity by so many Democrats on this forum would leave no question as to why.

GOP senators, who acquit Trump and are up for reelection this year, will have their supine character used against them.

To anyone with any kind of critical thinking skills it has shown just how inept and deranged the left of this country is.
So far the only people showing they are unfit for office is schiff and pelosi.

Speaker of the Houe Nancy Pelosi has been the main protection we have had from Trump and his manic behavious this past 12 months

Congressmen Adam Schiff has conducted himself with dignity and professionalism in the face of excessive and moronic behavior from Trump who thinks the USA can be governed by ranting to staffers and inane Twitter comments (often unprofessional and betraying that he's unfit for any office - none more so that his recent Tweet of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in Arab dress.

Respect for the office is another thing that Trump has destroyed.
