Bill Taylor testified that President Trump had directly asked about a Ukrainian investigation into Joe Biden.

Acting US Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor, whose testimony helped build the case for impeaching Donald Trump, is to leave his post next month. Mr Taylor will step down in January when his temporary appointment is due to expire, the New York Times reported. Mr Taylor took up the post in June after Mr Trump controversially withdrew the then ambassador, Marie Yovanovitch. Ms Yovanovitch has said she was the victim of a smear campaign by Mr Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. A replacement for Mr Taylor has not yet been announced. President Trump is accused of withholding US military aid to Ukraine in order to pressure the country's president to publicly announce a corruption inquiry into Mr Biden. He denies any wrongdoing and has described the impeachment inquiry as a "witch hunt". A majority of House Democrats are expected to vote to impeach Mr Trump on Wednesday.

During one exchange, Jordan highlighted Taylor’s limited knowledge of the events about which he was testifying:

“Second meeting was August 27, President Zelensky meets with you, Ambassador Bolton and others, and again there’s no linkage of security assistance dollars to an investigation of the Bidens,” Jordan continued. “And then of course, the third meeting was September 5, President Zelensky meets with you and Senators Johnston and Murphy, and once again there was no linkage of security assistance dollars to investigating Burisma or the Bidens.”

“Three meetings with the president of Ukraine and no linkage,” Jordan added. “That’s accurate?”

“Mr. Jordan, it’s certainly accurate on the first two meetings, because to my knowledge the Ukrainians were not aware of the hold on assistance until the 29th of August,” Taylor responded. “The third meeting that you mentioned, with Senator Murphy and Senator Johnston, there was discussion of security assistance but … but, uh, there was not a discussion of linkage.”

No professional or civilian diplomatic experience at the Ambassador/Plenipotentiary level.

I have no doubt that this is so for the capitalist. In the event of a threat to his pocket, the capitalist will discard both democracy and freedom of speech as a used condom and establish fascism - an open dictatorship of the most reactionary layers of the bourgeoisie. And even Nazism. So it would be nice for you to check if the shape of your skull meets Aryan standards.

By the way, for idiots who repeat the lies after the villains about 100 million killed personally by Stalin., The grandfather on the father’s side lost three brothers in the war, his wife, my grandmother, lost her only brother. From the side of my mother, my grandfather died and his wife, my grandmother received a notice about the death of her husband on the same day that she gave birth to his last son, my uncle. And these are only close relatives. But there were no "gulag prisoners" in the family. No one.

Some of these would be repressed have fled along with the Nazis, fearing for their lives for collaborating with the occupiers and crimes against their people and ended up in Canada, forming a powerful community there. Maybe that's why Canada is voting against the adoption of the law banning the glorification of Nazism and fascism? O no, sure not! It is all because of love for the freedom of spech.

Communism can't afford free speech and central production and distribution management has REPEATEDLY proven to produce a calcified, stratified, corrupt, dissatisfied and inefficient society.

I agree that all forms of governance can suffer from the weaknesses and abuses of their practitioners. So far a secular constitutional democracy based on rule of law providing equal rights, freedoms and opportunities appears to accomplish the best results.

And FYI, I am a bigot.

I hate those that choose the following ideologies (in no particular order) neo-nazis/fascists, holocaust deniers, racists of all colors, fanatics of all religions, ethno-nationalists, and commies (lived the cold war).

P.S. You don’t even need to know the history, it is hard, you need to look around and see shops clogged with goods from a country with a centralized economy.

The cold war I was referring to ended when the glorious USSR came crashing down due to its own internal rot. Putin the kleptocrat has launched an entirely new sort of conflict because, like many former KBG gangsters, he still blames America for the utter humiliation of his beloved otechestvo although it ultimately worked out pretty damn good for him.
