Big Tech, NCMEC, Law Enforcement, and the 4th Amendment

The postal service? No, it's a government agency.

FedEx or UPS? If your contract with them says they can open packages, then yes. And if you don't like that, don't use them.

It doesn’t matter that it is a government agency. 4th amendment only applies if there is a criminal investigation.

So, you wouldn’t care if UPS delivered a package that was ripped open and then taped back together simply because UPS wanted to look through your order?

Let’s suppose whatever they found in that package was unlawful and they sent that evidence to the FBI. The US Attorney then charges you with a crime. What’s your opinion then?
