Once again you are mistaken. The Articles of Confederation were not ignored and absolutely nothing was altered by the 1787 Constitutional Convention. The only thing that came out of the 1787 Constitutional Convention was a proposal.
And part of that "proposal" was to ignore the unanimous consent requirement of the Articles of Confederation and allow a mere nine states approval to effectuate the new Constitution and new powers delegated to a central government.
So, I guess you do not consider our existing Constitution as "legitimate". Am I correct?
