Well damn. Guess it's a good thing we don't have her right now.

I mean - she has baggage, but at least she knew what she was doing.

The real question is what does freedom of the press mean? Does it mean the right to present the truth to power, or does it mean the right to make up lies and deceive everyone for political reasons? If the latter is the case, do all citizens have freedom of the press, including used car salesmen and con artists? If I wish to break every rule of PC does freedom of press cover this?

Or is freedom of the press reserved for educated and objective men and women, whose job is to present the facts and truth, to inform the public, and as a check against power? Or does it mean political parties can use the press credential as a disguise, to misrepresent the truth with biased propaganda and lies, and never be prosecuted for liable or slander?

We need to define it before we can defend it.

What do you feel needs ‘defining?’
