Democrats anti second amendment? [W:528]

What's silly is you're mind-reading. And, worse, you are assuming someone is anti-gun without a shed of evidence, even after being shown that Garland didn't even vote on Heller.

He didn't vote on Heller-(and I never said he did)

he wanted the entire circuit to re-examine the ruling. Having actually practiced federal appellate law its rare that someone wants a case heard en banc when they agreed with the initial ruling. Since you have no experience in that issue, I guess you wouldn't understand that point

and when someone claims they want to reinstate a gun ban and when someone calls collector grade obsolete military weapons (that have been sold by the thousands by our own government to citizens without any real issues of criminal misses) "weapons of war that should not be on our streets" its not mind reading to believe that Obama-who as a state politician said he supported a COMPLETE BAN ON HANDGUNS-is a GUN BANNER and would seek justices on the supreme court who are anti gun

you ought to just leave this thread-you are getting schooled on it. the fact is-Obama is anti gun, he appointed anti gun judges, he called on congress to pass another gun ban and make it permanent He prevented the reimportation of obsolete military firearms that have had almost no history of criminal misuse but are highly desirable to collectors. HE also criticized the law that prevented bogus lawsuits against gun makers for actions that involve criminal misuse of firearms. His first pick for the supreme court had a track record of being hostile to individuals owning firearms and she continued that with her dissenting vote in McDonald. In fact, every Democrat appointee to the supreme court has voted against gun rights.

so go ahead and pretend Obama isn't anti gun. ignore the obvious.

They want the "cool" guns banned, and to know where the others are at all times. Meanwhile, the Republicans want to monitor every uterus, every second of every day and sooo much more. Basically, they want to control the sexuality of everyone.

What's to like about either party?

Kinda agree, but until a 3rd party appeals to me and has a real chance, republican currently gets my vote.

No. You're simply jumping the gun, as it were, assuming that someone is anti-gun simply because they are Democrats or appointed by them. You actually made my point more clearly than I ever could have in the post below.

you are quibbling and engaging in diversion. The fact is, Obama tried to find a reliable anti gun vote who didn't have much of a paper trail

I have never heard anyone call Say W or Nixon or Reagan republic presidents. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are often called Democrat presidents.
