Loyalty Requirement

He's the duly elected POTUS and deserves a chance to shine as much as the ones who preceded him. Trying to destroy him does nothing but hamper the country moving forward.

Besides, your side has nothing.

Funny the amount of damage "nothing" can do...lol... So much so, you'd almost think it was "something". Deserves a chance to shine? He was the one that chose to be a populist jackass, flipping the bird to half the country to secure the support of the other, and now he's paying the price. But, go ahead, blame everyone else, because that makes sense.

Oh really, he bragged about choosing the best, another Trump BS, not suprised. As for the pledge, comes off as a bit uhm...third reich. Just calling it like I see it. Trump needs therapy fast.

Third Reich? You have no idea what you're talking about, and are totally discredited. Dismissed.

It was reported seems from Fox News that Comey was asked by Trump at a dinner to sign a loyalty pledge to him.

Comey did the right thing by refusing. Since when does a president ask a loyalty pledge by given to him and not to the Constitution?

If that is true...it will be good for patriots to boot the guy out of office. People from out of the country are saying that your president looks like bad news.

What Fox reported is that Trump asked for his loyalty at a private meeting in the oval office with no requirement to sign anything. Comey dodged the question. Presidents are booted from office through the impeachment process for crimes. No crime, no impeachment. Sorry.

You just described how elections work in this country.

If I recall, there was 8 years of bird-flipping coming from the Obama admin.

Must we say that "elections have consequences" again?

Oh, come on, are you actually trying to say that Obama, whether your agree with his policy or not, was even in the same universe, let alone same ballpark as Trump? You'll need a mighty secure echo chamber to get anything approaching agreement on that front.

It's not yammering, Trump says he picks ONLY the best and now he is insulting his OWN AG as incompetent that HE himself picked. How can that be since he only picks the best?

Spicer, and Flynn can be added to that list of Trump's "best picks" as well.

Dude, the last several AG's all sucked donkey balls... the best of a crap group is still crap.

I would say that so far Trump is better than Obama... and that is truly scary for Obama's reputation.

A personal loyalty pledge is something an authoritarian dictator or would be fascist demands. Screw Trump and his demands.... this is still the land of the free where people like Comey are loyal to the Constitution and the rule of law and not a braggart and liar who inhabits the White House and wants to continue his bully boy ways that have served him well his entire life.

You have proof of this dictatorial demand or are you just blowing sunshine up a donkey's butt?

lol... Ok, I'll bite, I'd love to hear this comparative analysis. To be fair, please compare both presidents based on the same time frame of their presidency...their first six months, if you will.

Sure I have proof - the last six months of his administration. It is seen by any with eyes and minds wide open.

Trump is an authoritarian pure and simple and has placed us firmly on the cusp of an impending constitutional crisis.

The case is overwhelming.

Let me just correct you. Trump is a false populist. He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

The very people that crossed over to vote for him, trust him, etc. are the same people he is screwing over. Those people overwhelmingly benefit from government help, Medicaid, SNAP, CHIPs, etc. and also get Medicare and Social Security and almost all of them were helped but the ACA -- especially expanded Medicaid. Those are all programs that are under attack by the Trump Admin. It''s blatant double-cross, Trump U style.

I think that by virtue of the fact that he's in office, even by the slimmest of margins, should alert the greater percentage of Americans that a fair number of our fellow citizens are hurting. The real question is how to help them. Sorry to say that the president reminds one of past times when people were gulled into buying snake oil. Seems as if that con still lives among certain of our politicians, including the president. Let's try to do better next time.

Oh please, I have a BA in history, so ya I do know what I am talking about. As you did nothing to refute my post except a weak personal attack, I would say you are the one needing a history lesson. I tutor history, charge extra for Neo Cons as there heads tend to be just that much thicker than the average man. See you at the hearings! You have been schooled by the best, no charge this time.

Yeah, let me get right on that. A comparative analysis about two jackasses... I'll sure to do a great job for you.

Maybe you could see it differently? Ever thought about that?

At present, all I see is continuous, repetitive yammering.

Poor rebuttel with no substance, your usual.

Your post is nothing more than hysterics. My parents lived under Hitler, I know exactly what they went through. You read a book, obviously written by a biased loon.

lol...make it as snappy as your assertion, and I'll be impressed! :p Don't let me down, I've done the research today too, for giggles and preparedness, so I already know the answer. ;)

(to be honest, I'm a little disappointed you didn't bring it earlier, I mean, you've had all day...)

It is just past noon here...

Ignoring you and your's hateful rhetoric toward anything on the Right is what has occurred.

Its going to a very long 4 years for you, see ya at the hearings !!

You're talking to someone who has very little faith in government to begin with. So what?

If you put your faith in Trump, you get what ya voted for, a Liar in Chief.

If Trump turns out to be a scumbag, it wouldn't surprise me. Hoping he's not.

He already is a scumbag. He sunk that low when he ripped off disabled Vets thru Trump U. Classy guy eh ?
