Take what it says about free speech. Those who agree with it can take that idea and stick it so far up up their ass that they would need a dentist to check the other end of it for head lice. Free speech isn't a god damned political issue. It's a mutha fukin HUMAN RIGHTS issue! A human right that as everybody knows, business' (such as political forums) can ignore at their leisure)

Also, the constitution was written by and for American citizens. But somehow, it has come to protect people in this country who aren't citizens. I think it's time we used the constitution as toilet paper and do an Ameri-exit.

The Constitutional Free Speech is about keeping the government from suppressing speech. It was never about private individuals denying other private individuals on their own property from speaking. If you truly believe what you are saying here then you do not understand anything about the Constitution or the BoRs or what Rights actually are.

If everybody can do it, it doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of difference what the government does. Also, bringing up what rights people have to hear or not hear on their own private property is a load of crap. A little personal privacy should be allowed. Maybe one acre around any individual if they have the room. Apart from that, it would be infringing on the rights of others. Now if you were rich, you could have a lot more than an acre. But wealth shouldn't be a measure of somebody's human rights.

If it doesn't make a difference then how is it that you're able to say what you just said in the OP and we're here discussing it?

I don't think that straddling the border and wiping our bottoms will accomplish anything, but whatever floats your boat.

Different strokes and all that.....

The Constitution doesn't protect anyone from the consequences of free speech. That illegal Argentinian girl was arrested by ICE this week on the highway in Jackson, MS after her diatribe in a public forum. And good. Send her home. People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

People have the right to freedom of speech regardless of where they are. Any person who denies another the right to free speech is denying their rights and is committing a crime that the government has the responsibility to protect.

Take that attitude over to Europe, Russia, and any wheres else, and see how far it gets you.

Where ya gonna go?

America's individual rights of free speech is still one of the crown jewels on the planet.

That's not exactly true. There are limits on free speech. Yelling fire in a crowded room, for instance. You cannot pontificate in a court room, or come on my property and speechify. Or, for that matter there are limits on this forum.

Idiotic example. Why do people always come up with this example when it is so easily refuted? It is not illegal to yell fire in a crowded room, it is illegal to yell fire when there is no fire. It is perfectly legal to yell fire when there is fire.

It is not a restriction on free speech, it is a law to prevent using speech as a weapon to do harm. It is also against the law to use a shovel as a weapon, that does not mean shovels are illegal.

99% of the law is intent.

Free speech is the right of ever sovereign individual. The fact is though, the vast majority of people no longer wish to be sovereign individuals because to be so, requires taking responsibility for one's own life. The vast majority are willing to sacrifice their sovereignty and their freedom for the illusion of protection and support.

We were once a free, proud, and brave people. Today we are serfs with little personal integrity, too cowardly to take responsibility for our own lives or stand up for our rights.

We are for all intent and purpose domesticated farm animals.

My goodness! Even for trash that seems rather primitiv.

Actually it would be about like using cardboard, you'd be better off with a catalog like we used in the outhouse 60 years ago.

Just sayin'.

Have you even read it ?

They ARE great principles to build a Nation on.
They're timeless, universal and truely revolutionary.
Natural rights endowed by a creator and not men, a Govt constrained and accountable to the people

Is there anything specific in our Constitution you disagree with, or are you just here to spam ?

Your're correct concerning the SCOTUS statement concerning free speech. I didn't bother to quote the full statement since I assumed most people are aware of the full statement.

You're not correct with the 99% thingy. That's the newly coined Comey definition concocted to let Hillary off the hook. But breaking the law is breaking the law. A LEO or a judge may dismiss the charge and sometimes do. That doesn't change the law.

Just noticed Retired and smilings post.
Did your Govt actually arrest someone for singing " Kung Fu Fighting " ?

Lol ! What the hell is wrong with you people ?

That is a statement from someone who could look at a map and fail to find the rest of the world.

Wrong.

The Bill of Rights protects an individual from the Government blocking their right to speak.

It does not guarantee that an individual has the right to say whatever they want, wherever they want.

You have the right to assemble with others and say whatever you want. That does not mean you have the right to stand up in another lawful assembly and say whatever you want.

You really do not understand this, do you?

The first is the only amendment that starts with the qualifier of who can make no law. The rest are absolute.

You're correct. You do not have to speak on my property or on my time.

Therefore, I have the right to camp right outside of your house and shout for 12 hours a day on the glories of Zoro-Astroism. And any attempt you make to have me move is a violation of my right to free speech.

Or if you do not like that, I will do so in front of your neighbor's house, who is also a believer in Zoro-Astroism.

Stop oppressing me! You are letting everybody see the oppression inherent in the system!

After digging through your foul writing, I have to say you don't understand the first amendment at all. It restricts government, not the public. The public can restrict speech at its pleasure. The government cannot.

Another important point is that the constitution defines government restrictions for everyone within the U.S. - even foreigners, legal or otherwise. Outsied the U.S. they lose their constitutional protections.
