Questions Concerning Article 4 "Full Faith And Credit Clause" of the US Constitution.

Re: Questions Concerning Article 4 "Full Faith And Credit Clause" of the US Constitut

But please remember: You can dance without a lawyer

Well, maybe.

Now, whatever they say, and where ever they refer me to, I reply w/ "This is unacceptable...."

I'm trying to decide IF I'm willing to go to jail for this. They give us 60 days to get our DL, and I'm now 135 days OVER this limit.

It'll be harder if you go to jail. See a paralegal and get a hearing.

I could get a Hearing at the State's Hearing Division, (related to, but not part of the DMV), but I must first be denied by the Exceptions Processing Dept, and NO guarantees at either one.

I've yet to have a FAIR opportunity to prove my BC IS a Legal and valid Document...the DMV does NOT declare outright that my BC is invalid, and of course, their Lawyers told them not to as the burden of proof lies w/ the accuser.

I've been to DMV twice, don't have time for unlimited trips to DMV, and told them so, and I feel, (strongly) that the DMV should've accepted my BC the FIRST time I presented it to them.

That's why, in my view you want to go to a paralegal. Traffic court doesn't require a lawyer for something this simple. A para can help with the research to determine the court to go to and the paperwork for the hearing can be done and filed.

The think is though, if this is state policy and everybody has to meet the requirements, you're in for an uphill battle.

It SHOULD be simple, BUT, the DMV has made it over-complicated.

I don't need a Lawyer, (yet) I need the DMV to accept my BC for the Legal Document that it is. (I'll need a Lawyer to take THEM to Court for violating the U.S. Constitution, ignoring their OWN State Laws, and for intentionally misidentifying my BC.)

I do my own research, have the proof I need, BUT, they don't care to even see/hear it, etc.

Yes, and it's been an uphill battle from the start.:doh

I've requested a Waiver on the 60-Day Limit, (from DMV, DOR, and the AG) hoping to avoid a ticket for this.....as mentioned, being ignored, etc. makes this whole process much more difficult.

P.S. Thanks for the interest Jet.

You're not going to convince DMV robots to except anything unless a judge tells them they have to.

And no problem, I enjoy helping out.

I couldn't agree more, and that's why I'm 'climbing the ladder' (going over their heads) ...but, no difference, so far.

They're 'parrots' chanting the DMV Mantra over and over, "CO won't accept it..."

Update: The AG referred me to the DOR Advocate Office, so I sent them short version of my story, we'll see......

Apparently, my previous contact at DOR is a "Communications Specialist", but his conduct hardly matches his title.

Maybe I'll just move back to NV, my NVDL's good for 10 more months.
