Unlike most Republicans who have lost their spine (Graham, Ryan, Rubio just to name a few) or ones that never had any to begin with (McConnell, Cruz, McCarthy) etc, it looks like Christopher Wray has enough character to stand up to Trump and "do the right thing".

I think the GOP figured out that if the base is stupid enough to believe that Trump is out there fighting for them, they're stupid enough to believe cherry picked distortions about the FBI being weaponized by the Obama Deep State.

How many anti-Trump threads are you going to make? Just shows your level of rabid partisanship.

He has a long way to go to beat calamity's record.

Um, Trump is fighting for my interests on dozens of fronts; from reducing regulations to lowering my taxes to supporting Jerusalem to fighting illegal immigration to destroying ISIS to getting us out of fraudulent climate change agreements to bringing business back to America. Not sure what the hell you are watching.

I disagree with everything you just said. But, who wants to have another Fletch and Winston quote each other 4 pages-athon.

Then don't start off a conversation by calling people you disagree with 'stupid'

heh heh
I was thinking the same thing.
It's like an unfocused heavy thread assault with no relevant facts to offer.
But still way short of calamity.

No, I will say whatever I want Fletch, it's a ****ing war now.

Trump and the GOP don't fight for middle class interests. If you don't make above 200k a year, there is no point in voting for the GOP. And since Trump, an elite himself, came along, the GOP figured out the base will swallow anything, as long as you sprinkle some fear mongering in. the conservative base responds to fear based stimuli. In this case, it's the Democrats are controlling the FBI!!

So, I'll say it again, since Trump came along, The GOP has figured out the base is stupid enough to believe Trump is out there fighting for them. They figured the base is stupid enough to believe a cherry picked memo.

Ummmmmmmmmmm. The Republican tax plan not only lowered taxes on the middle class, but brought many of the lower class down to the zero percent tax bracket by almost doubling the standard deduction. Sorry to spoil your partisan narrative. Those making less than 200K have many reasons to vote for Trump and the GOP.

Unlike you I actually run a business and have employees. In last week payroll, my employees received anywhere from $18-$35 more in their paychecks. That aint nuthin. But you go right on ahead with your envious rant against your betters while the average American sees direct benefits from the Trump presidency.

He's doing exactly what he should do as the director of the FBI. This is unrelated to the validity of the memo. No leader should throw the entire organization (s)he is leading, regardless of the circumstances that exist when they take over. Good for him.
