Woman sues abortion pill supplier, says ex tricked her into ending pregnancy

A Texas woman is suing a major supplier of abortion pills by mail and a former sexual partner, who she alleges terminated her pregnancy by lacing her drink with medication he obtained from the group.
In the complaint, filed Monday in Texas federal court by a prominent antiabortion attorney, the woman alleges that her ex-partner bought the pills from Aid Access, a nonprofit based in Europe, then pressured her to take them for weeks in the spring, even though she told him she did not want an abortion.

Apparently, the slimeball made her a cup of hot chocolate laced with the abortion meds. He should go to prison. Suing the drug company, Aid Access, is going to be tough. They're a non-profit incorporated in Austria. Texas is attempting to use The Comstock Act to stop abortion meds from being mailed to Texans.

The Comstock Act now focuses on prosecuting the distribution of child pornography. Originally, it was much broader and had a destructive impact on our society.
 
Yes, he should go to prison. This poses a problem for abortion supporters, imo. A wanted baby killed by an abortion pill and the man who fed the abortion pill without the consent of the mother needs prison time for he killed a wanted child. On the other hand it's okay and fine to kill an unwanted baby without any repercussions of any kind, perfectly normal behavior in their eyes. Both situations, the result was the same, a baby died from taking an abortion pill.

A woman has a right to decide to terminate her pregnancy, or should have that right IMO.

A man does not remotely have a right to decide to terminate a woman's pregnancy, and without her knowledge and/or consent no less.

Yes you have a "problem", an inability to apply logic and common sense to basic everyday situations. There is absolutely no equating what this idiot man did as being remotely the same thing as a woman's decision to end her pregnancy.

Fetus, unborn baby......what's the difference? Legal to kill if unwanted, illegal to kill if wanted.....end result is death, the same. Is killing good for political reasons, for ideological beliefs but only with consent? Have we gone back in Roman times......(y) or (n) to the unborn?.....surreal.

Terminating a pregnancy may be good for any one of a million reasons. None of which are any of your bidness.

And yes, should only be done with CONSENT of the pregnant woman, correct. Good GAWD man. smh

He should only go to jail for drugging her, then. After all, a fetus isn't a human being. A fetus has no rights. A fetus isn't even alive (according to some people).

In the end, it's the fetus/unborn baby which died. The woman and man are both alive. As I said from the beginning, the man should be imprisoned....please pay attention. The result of the crime committed here is the death of the unborn.

In this situation, the woman wanted to keep the child. Besides his drugging the wannabe mother with abortion pills, what other crime did he commit?

No kidding, hence the problem. She can abort if she wants, she can carry to term if she wants. Anyone usurping her ability to make that decision one way or the other has assaulted her bodily autonomy. She’s the victim here.
