U.S. defeats Canada World Junior Hockey

I couldn't watch it, but kept up on updates.
I swear, I'll never like ending a hockey game with a shoot-out. I'd have another OT without goalies. Ther'd have to be a rule about parking D in the crease but at least it would look like a hockey game.
They'll meet again. Canada wins the group if they beat Denmark today, I think. I'm not sure of the format- can Canada and the US meet in the gold medal game or will it be a team from each group?

No kidding - hate the shootout.
I think they can meet in the gold medal game - last year we played for gold against the US and were in the same pool.
Here's hoping.

Well it is all over for another year.
Canada wins Gold,Sweden silver, US bronze.
The gold medal game could have went either way - I think the Canadian goalie was stellar.
Anyone watch it?
