U.S. blinks in trade fight with China, delaying tariffs on some imports

That ignores the investment in infrastructure that China has made. Investments that make it efficient and cost effective far beyond just having cheap labor. That other countries have not made

There is a lot more going on than investment in infrastructure and cheap labor, such as government involvement, environmental issues, currency pegging, worker rights issues, closed markets, technology theft all to China’s advantage.

India is heavily polluted, its domestic market is heavily protected by tariffs, and it has strong government involvement. India was a heavily socialist country, that has liberalized its economy starting in the 80's. It has a significant number of public companies (ie government owned) that among the largest in India

A significant difference at least in the private sector in both is the ability to fire people, and start business's. It is much easier in China to do both. In India the jobs are protected and so are the companies from competition
