The guy may have made a huge mistake releasing the Hillary letter a week before the election, but, IMO, one thing s for sure. Comey is honest as the day is long. Trump? Not so much.

A Comey hearing would instantly become one of the most significant congressional appearances of modern times.

The practiced, analytical note-taking of a former FBI director who knows how to leave a paper trail would amount to a compelling piece of evidence in the court of public opinion and pit Comey's word against Trump's.

Why did Comey sit on this memo for 3 months ??

Not so much. If there was any wrongdoing, Comey was obligated to report it immediately. Not wait until he lost his job.

Another disgruntled employee moment coming.

And since he had ALREADY updated congress he was obligated to correct his position.

His mistake was in assigning himself prosecutorial powers during an investigation.

Stupid argument.

We still have unfinished work. Picture the Celebration to come when the World finds out Trump has vacated the White House! Keep Believing!

Champagne is on ice :)

So far the only evidence we have of rigging or interfering in our election process was done by the democratic party and Comey. If that is what you call honest God help us.

Is that what Hannity is selling?

Well did Hillary get the questions to the debate to give her an advantage over Trump? You don't think the email investigation that went on all through the election did not cause Hillary the election? Oh and lets not forget Bernie or the IRS attacking the Tea party. Sorry but the facts are the facts. These are just a few of the thing they were caught at.

He didn't. He passed it on to other agents. :doh

The meeting that memo supposedly described was this past February, again 'why did Comey sit on this bombshell for 3 months ??'

Eventually, you get your question answered if Comey gives Sworn Testimony in Public, and someone important asks that question. Meanwhile, we can speculate.

I would think a Whistle Blower at that level would want to proceed cautiously before making an accusation against President Trump. President Trump has a forceful personality and almost certainly would retaliate. Prudent people handle Dangerous Snakes carefully!

So the idea by the lefts organized noise machine is to float the meme the man Clinton, Schumer, Pelosi, Sanders, Waters, Warren, etc., etc., claimed was incompetent and should be removed, should be trusted more than the President this same connected media has been working overtime to destroy.

It's a diversion. I've seen it all over the tweeter. Bottom line is the memo was part of an investigation. Comey shared it with other investigators. He did not "sit on it." Someone did, however, leak it to the WaPo.

FBI has a history of leaking to WaPo to take down a corrupt president. Google "Deep Throat" for an example of that.

Keep flailing, Ocean. We know you'll believe the Liar in Chief.

INSURANCE :2wave:

Why did Trump sit on these So-Called Tapes

1) Comey was an LEO Cigar, you and I both know he would have been obligated to report such malfeasance.

2) Apples to oranges.

I think we all tend to believe testimony under oath in front of a congressional panel to be heavily weighted towards truth. Risky to lie under oath. Got Clinton impeached. Testimony that's tough to believe is the he-said she-said kind. Usually, though, this kind of testimony can be corroborated in other ways. If it can't be otherwise verified? Believability depends...
