The ONLY thing more hilarious than tRump's glaring hypocrisy, is the inability of his moronic supporters to actually see through it.....:)
 
Libby wasn't prosecuted or convicted of leaking anything.

Doesn't matter; Libby is a POS & he was convicted on multiple counts. GW Bush, Cheney, and Trump are all in the same boat = the ASS HOLE boat.

The trial in the case of the United States of America v. I. Lewis Libby began on January 16, 2007. On March 6, Libby was convicted of four out of the five counts against him. He was found guilty of two counts of perjury in testimony before a federal grand jury, one count of obstruction of justice in a federal grand jury investigation, and one of two counts of making false statements to federal investigators.

Perjury and obstruction of justice which was not all of what he was doing...but that is the answer.

Pardoning him was another error in judgement on trump's part. Libby is the poster child for some of the things trump claims for some of the people on his enemies list.

The various investigations are too broadly based now. Some of these guys are going to end up in state court. If they are pardoned they can no longer take the 5th for one thing. In fact Cohen may likely be taking the 5th on Monday in NY.

I think a fair amount of this is going to really come back to haunt trump politically. Sure his hard core base may never leave him. But that group is not very big and people are going to figure out that trump has been playing them for fools and I actually think that is an unfair characterization in many cases. But that is trump's characterization. That is the way he has been in business. "Everybody else is a fool but me". Voters were frustrated with government and while I do not think a frustrated vote is a well informed vote I can understand how somebody can get there.

Richard Armitage leaked Plame's identity to Bob Kovak. He was never even quetioned during the investigation. Why do you think that is?

Armitage was not the target of that witch hunt. The intended targets were Bush, Cheney, and Rove. Scooter Libby was just the pound of flesh Fitzgerald settled for when he failed to nail his real targets
