What most of us feared is coming to pass. An inept leader is allowing US leadership to slip away. Hell, the moron didn't even try to use the North Korean threat as a rallying point to kickstart an agenda. We got Nada.

But as Mr. Trump contemplates protectionism, Europe and Japan reached a landmark free trade agreement this week. Mexico and China, two of the United States’ largest trading partners, have been mulling their own deal. The world is moving ahead regardless.

And we will fall further behind.

“We will respond with countermeasures if need be, hoping that this is not actually necessary,” European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker told reporters, adding figuratively: “We are prepared to take up arms if need be.”

Really? Taking up arms against the US would be a very bad idea.

The Trump administration has blamed China for what it says is a “global overcapacity” of steel, essentially arguing that China’s government is subsidizing its steel industry and allowing producers to create and export so much steel that it drives down prices and makes it difficult for U.S. producers to compete.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told leaders that all countries in the global economy must abide by “free and fair rules, and these rules need to be maintained at the high level, and need to be respected,” Maruyama said.

A market that is warped by government subsidy is not fair. You see, when everyone is playing by the same rules then it's fair, but when one team is getting free money from the state things are warped to their advantage.

That already happened to us in 2008. We picked ourselves up and survived. Anything after that will be no different.

Yeah, sure it did.

trump gets burned by Russia on the United Nations resolution on North Korea and still cowardly cowers to Putin .

What else would you expect from Putin's bitch?

other than perhaps making you feel better over an election that you are upset about, what good does this constant complaining do?

any actual proof of such a silly claim?

Body language says it all.

Trump's a bottom.

What else would you expect from Putin's bitch?

With the Republics, it used to be 'and to the Republicans for which it stands'

Now it's 'and to the Putinistas we've sold out to'

Let me make clear I am not a very big Trump fan, but...

Taking your information from a blog and a shameless anti-Trump liberal newspaper? Try to diversify your sources my guy, because right now you look like you've built yourself an echo chamber - only letting in the type of news you want to hear. Despite what your sources say, the US was NOT isolated at G20. If you looked past your two sources you would realize that the rest of the world sees that the US was in fact isolated with regards to the topic of climate change, and only that, which is to be expected - we're not apart of the worlds climate change initiative after all.

This isn't the third grade where you give the cold shoulder to people that you do not like, and so to back up my point here is an AUSTRALIAN news site's commentary on G20.

Donald Trump's plans to reshape the international economic order loom large over the G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bankers, but there will be other matters on the agenda, too. Here are four of the main themes:

You will see, after a little extra research, that the US was still a prominent figure but were indeed sidelined with regards to climate change. Which is good, maybe Trump finally sees that, in terms of the environment, everyone in the international community is happy to move forward with or without the US.

He's isolating us on trade too....as was discussed in the so-called anti-Trump NYT.
